6. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your MINIX C1, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Keep both the transmitter and receiver units clean and dry.
  • Avoid exposing the devices to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or high humidity.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the units, as this will void the warranty.
  • Store the devices in a cool, dry place when not in use.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your MINIX C1, refer to the following troubleshooting tips:

  • No Display on Monitor:
    • Ensure the HDMI Receiver (Rx) is properly connected to the display's HDMI input.
    • Verify that the HDMI Receiver (Rx) is receiving adequate power (5V/0.5A) from a USB-A power source.
    • Confirm that the USB-C port on your source device (laptop, smartphone) supports DP-Alt mode for video output.
    • Try connecting the HDMI Receiver to a different HDMI port on your display or a different display.
    • Unplug and replug both the transmitter and receiver.
  • Intermittent Connection or Signal Loss:
    • Reduce the distance between the transmitter and receiver. The maximum range is 50 meters (164 feet), but obstructions can reduce this.
    • Ensure there are no significant physical obstructions (walls, large furniture) between the transmitter and receiver.
    • Minimize interference from other wireless devices operating on the 5GHz band.
  • Lag or Stuttering Video:
    • Ensure the devices are within optimal range and line of sight.
    • Check for potential wireless interference.
    • Verify that your source device is not under heavy load.
