4. Connectivity

5. Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to set up your GEEKOM A6 Mini PC:
- Connect to Display: Use the provided HDMI cable to connect your Mini PC to a monitor or TV. You can use additional HDMI or USB4 ports for multiple displays.
- Connect Peripherals: Plug in your keyboard, mouse, and any other USB devices into the available USB ports (USB 2.0, USB 3.0, or USB-C).
- Connect Power: Connect the power adapter to the DC jack on the rear of the Mini PC, then plug the adapter into a power outlet.
- Power On: Press the power button located on the front of the Mini PC. The system will boot up.
- Initial Setup: Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the Windows 11 Pro initial setup, including language, region, network connection, and user account creation.
The GEEKOM A6 comes pre-installed with Windows 11 Pro 64-bit and supports multi-OS installations like Linux and Ubuntu, offering flexibility for various professional and personal needs.
6. Operating Instructions
Your GEEKOM A6 Mini PC operates like a standard Windows 11 desktop computer. Here are some basic operating guidelines:
- Power On/Off: Press the power button to turn the PC on. To shut down, click the Start button in Windows, then select Power > Shut down.
- Restart: To restart the PC, click the Start button, then select Power > Restart.
- Sleep Mode: To put the PC into sleep mode, click the Start button, then select Power > Sleep.
- Connecting to Network: For wired connection, plug an Ethernet cable into the 2.5G RJ45 LAN port. For wireless, connect via Wi-Fi 6E through Windows network settings.
- Using SD Card: Insert your SD card into the dedicated slot on the front. It will appear as a removable drive in File Explorer.
- Multi-Display Setup: Connect additional monitors to the available HDMI or USB4 ports. Windows will automatically detect them, and you can configure display settings (extend, duplicate, etc.) in Display Settings.
7. Maintenance

- Keep Clean: Regularly clean the exterior of the Mini PC with a soft, dry cloth. Ensure the ventilation grilles are free from dust and debris to maintain efficient cooling.

8. Troubleshooting

- No Power:
- Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the Mini PC and a working power outlet.
- Try a different power outlet.
- No Display:
- Verify the HDMI/USB4 cable is securely connected to both the Mini PC and the monitor.
- Ensure the monitor is powered on and set to the correct input source.
- Try a different display cable or monitor if possible.
- No Internet Connection:
- For wired connection, check the Ethernet cable and router status.
- For Wi-Fi, ensure Wi-Fi is enabled in Windows settings and you are connected to the correct network with the correct password.
- Restart your router/modem.
- System Slowdown/Freezing:
- Close unnecessary applications.
- Check Task Manager for high CPU/RAM usage.
- Ensure the cooling vents are not obstructed.
- Run a system scan for malware.
- Fan Noise:
- A slight fan noise during heavy tasks is normal due to the cooling system.
- Ensure the vents are clear of dust and obstructions.
