4. Product Overview
4.1 Front Panel Controls and Connections

- Channels 1-6 (MIC/LINE): Each channel includes XLR microphone inputs, 1/4" line inputs, GAIN control, LOW CUT button, 3-band EQ (HIGH, MID, LOW), FX/SEND control, PAN control, and LEVEL fader. A +48V phantom power button is available for condenser microphones.
- Channel 7/8 (Stereo Line): Features 1/4" stereo line inputs, GAIN, 3-band EQ, FX/SEND, BALANCE, and LEVEL controls.
- Channel 9/10 (Stereo Line/USB/Player): Offers 1/4" stereo line inputs, or can be switched to USB/Media Player input. Includes GAIN, 3-band EQ, FX/SEND, BALANCE, and LEVEL controls.

5. Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the mixer and all accessories from the packaging.
- Placement: Place the mixer on a stable, flat surface, ensuring adequate ventilation around the unit.
- Power Connection: Connect the provided USB power cable to the "POWER EXT. DC IN (5V/1A)" port on the rear of the mixer and then to the USB power adapter. Plug the adapter into a suitable power outlet. The power LED on the front panel should illuminate.
- Connecting Main Outputs: Connect the MAIN OUT (XLR or 1/4") to your main PA system or powered speakers.
- Connecting Control Room/Headphones: Connect your control room monitors to the CTRL ROOM OUT and/or headphones to the PHONES jack for monitoring.
- Connecting Inputs:
- Microphones: Connect microphones to the XLR inputs of channels 1-6. If using condenser microphones, activate the +48V phantom power for the respective channels.
- Line-Level Devices: Connect instruments, media players, or other line-level devices to the 1/4" LINE inputs of channels 1-10.
- Initial Settings: Before powering on connected speakers or amplifiers, ensure all channel LEVEL faders and the MAIN fader are set to their minimum position.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Basic Channel Operation (Channels 1-10)
- GAIN Control: Adjust the GAIN knob for each input channel to achieve an optimal input level. Aim for the signal to be strong without clipping (distortion).
- LOW CUT: Press the LOW CUT button to engage a high-pass filter, reducing unwanted low-frequency rumble from microphones.
- Equalization (EQ): Use the HIGH, MID, and LOW knobs to adjust the tonal characteristics of each channel.
- HIGH: Adjusts treble frequencies.
- MID: Adjusts mid-range frequencies.
- LOW: Adjusts bass frequencies.
- FX/SEND: Controls the amount of signal sent from the channel to the internal effects processor or external FX send output.
- PAN (Channels 1-6) / BALANCE (Channels 7-10): Adjusts the stereo position of the channel's signal.
- LEVEL Fader: Controls the overall volume of the channel sent to the main mix.
6.2 Digital Media Player Operation
The integrated media player supports playback from USB memory sticks and Bluetooth devices.
- USB Playback:
- Insert a USB memory stick containing WMA, WAV, FLAC, APE, or MP3 audio files into the USB port on the media player section.
- Press the "MODE" button until "USB" is displayed.
- Use the PLAY/PAUSE and SKIP buttons to control playback.
- Adjust the LEVEL fader for Channel 9/10 to control the media player's volume in the mix.
- Bluetooth Playback:
- Press the "MODE" button until "BT" (Bluetooth) is displayed.
- On your Bluetooth-enabled device (e.g., smartphone, tablet), search for available devices and select "LIVE-10" to pair.
- Once paired, audio from your device will stream to the mixer.
- Adjust the LEVEL fader for Channel 9/10 to control the Bluetooth audio volume.
6.3 USB Audio Interface Functionality
The LIVE-10 can function as a USB audio interface for recording to or playing back from a computer (PC/Mac).
- Connect the USB-A port on the rear of the mixer to your computer using a standard USB cable.
- Your computer should recognize the mixer as an audio device. Select it as the input/output device in your operating system's sound settings or your Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) software.
- The mixer can send a mono mix of its output to the computer for recording or receive a stereo signal from the computer for playback through Channel 9/10.
6.4 Main Mix and Monitoring
- MAIN Fader: Controls the overall output volume of the main mix to the MAIN OUTs.
- PHONES Level: Adjusts the volume for the headphone output.
- CTRL ROOM Level: Adjusts the volume for the control room outputs.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Disconnect the mixer from power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
