5. Installation
Follow these steps for a successful installation. A video guide is also available below for visual assistance.
5.1. Prepare the Sink and Faucet
- Turn off Water Supply: Locate and turn off the hot and cold water supply valves under the sink.
- Clear the Area: Remove any existing faucet and clean the sink surface thoroughly.
- Prepare Foam Gasket: If using the optional deck plate, remove the inner ring from the foam gasket. If installing directly to a single hole, use the full gasket.
- Attach Gasket: Feed the supply lines through the foam gasket (sticky side up) and seat it flush on the bottom of the faucet.
5.2. Mount the Faucet
- Insert Faucet: Feed the supply lines and sprayer hose down through the mounting hole(s) in your sink. Ensure the faucet is centered and the Delta logo is facing forward.
- Secure Mounting Hardware: From underneath the sink, slide the washer and mounting nut onto the faucet shank. Hand-tighten the mounting nut.
- Final Tightening: Use a Phillips screwdriver to tighten the mounting screws on the mounting nut until the faucet is secure. Do not overtighten.
5.3. Connect Supply Lines
- Identify Lines: Connect the blue-marked supply line (cold) to the cold water supply valve and the red-marked supply line (hot) to the hot water supply valve. Hand-tighten first.
- Tighten Connections: Use a wrench to tighten the supply line connections by one full revolution after hand-tightening.
- Flush Lines: Before connecting the sprayer hose, slowly turn on both hot and cold water supply valves. Place a bucket under the faucet's outlet tube (where the sprayer hose connects) and flush the lines for approximately 30 seconds to clear any debris. Turn off the water supply again.
5.4. Connect Sprayer Hose
- Attach Sprayer Hose: Push the sprayer hose onto the faucet's outlet tube until it clicks into place.
- Secure with Clip: Install the blue clip over the connection to secure the sprayer hose. Give a gentle tug to ensure it's firmly connected.
- Install Sprayer Weight: Attach the sprayer weight to the sprayer hose at the indicated position (usually about 6 inches from the bottom of the sink). This helps the sprayer retract properly.
- Check for Obstructions: Ensure the sprayer hose moves freely and is not obstructed by other plumbing or items under the sink.
5.5. Final Steps
- Turn on Water: Slowly turn on the hot and cold water supply valves.
- Check for Leaks: Inspect all connections for any signs of leaks. Tighten if necessary.
- Test Faucet: Operate the faucet, checking hot and cold water flow, sprayer function, and spray patterns.

6. Operation
6.1. Water Flow and Temperature
- Handle Operation: Lift the single handle to turn the water on. Move the handle left for hot water and right for cold water.
6.2. Pull-Down Sprayer
- Undock/Pull Down: The flexible spring-design spout allows the sprayer to be undocked for extended reach or pulled down directly from the spout.
- MagnaTite® Docking: A powerful integrated magnet ensures the pull-down sprayer snaps precisely into place and stays docked when not in use.
- 360° Spout Swivel: The faucet spout can swivel 360 degrees, providing full sink access.

7. Maintenance
7.1. Cleaning the Faucet
- Clean the faucet regularly with a soft cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or polishes as they may damage the finish.
- Touch-Clean® Spray Holes: Easily wipe away calcium and lime buildup from the spray holes with the touch of a finger.

8. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Low water flow | Aerator clogged with debris; supply lines partially closed. | Remove and clean aerator; ensure supply valves are fully open. |
| Leaks at connections | Loose connections; damaged O-rings. | Tighten connections (do not overtighten); replace O-rings if damaged. |
| Sprayer does not retract fully | Sprayer weight improperly positioned or obstructed. | Adjust sprayer weight position; clear any obstructions under the sink. |
| Water temperature issues | Hot/cold supply lines reversed; water heater issues. | Verify supply line connections; check water heater settings. |
