4. Setup and First Use

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Cooking Steps

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Place your ingredients and the required amount of liquid into the inner pot. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
  2. Close Lid: Securely close the lid and ensure the pressure release valve is in the 'Sealing' position.
  3. Select Program: Plug in the appliance. The display will show '----'. Press the desired program button (e.g., RICE, PORK, SOUP). The default cooking time will appear.
  4. Adjust Settings (Optional):
    • Time Adjustment: Press 'ADJUSTMENT' to modify the cooking time if needed.
    • Texture Selection: For certain programs, press 'TEXTURE' to cycle through Soft, Medium, or Hard settings.
  5. Start Cooking: Press 'START'. The cooker will begin preheating, then build pressure, and finally start the countdown.
  6. Pressure Release: Once cooking is complete, the cooker will beep and automatically switch to 'Keep Warm' mode. To open the lid, you must first release the pressure. Use the 'One-Touch Safety Valve' to safely release steam. Wait until the float valve drops down before attempting to open the lid.
  7. Open Lid: Rotate the lid counter-clockwise and lift it carefully away from your face to avoid residual steam.
