- Electrical Shock Hazard: Do not operate the generator in wet conditions. Ensure all electrical connections are dry and secure. Never connect the generator directly to your home's electrical system without a transfer switch installed by a qualified electrician.
- Hot Surfaces: The generator's engine and muffler become very hot during operation. Avoid contact with hot surfaces to prevent burns. Allow the generator to cool completely before handling or storing.

3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking and Inspection
- Carefully remove the generator and all accessories from the packaging.
- Inspect the unit for any damage that may have occurred during shipping. If any damage is found, do not operate the generator and contact PowerSmart customer support.
- Ensure all listed accessories are present: User Manual, Spark Plug Wrench, Funnel, Screwdriver.
3.2 Adding Engine Oil
The generator is shipped without engine oil. It is crucial to add the correct type and amount of oil before first use.
- Place the generator on a level surface.
- Locate the oil fill cap/dipstick.
- Using the provided funnel, slowly add SAE 10W-30 engine oil (approximately 0.6L or 20.3 oz) until it reaches the upper mark on the dipstick. Do not overfill.
- Securely replace the oil fill cap.

3.3 Adding Fuel
Use only fresh, unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Do not use E85 or any other fuel type.
- Ensure the generator is on a level surface and the engine is off and cool.
- Remove the fuel cap.
- Slowly fill the fuel tank, avoiding overfilling. Leave some space for fuel expansion. The tank capacity is approximately 13 Liters (3.4 Gallons).
- Securely replace the fuel cap.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Starting the Generator
- Ensure the generator is on a firm, level surface outdoors, away from any enclosed spaces.
- Turn the fuel cap vent lever to the "ON" position.
- Turn the engine switch to the "ON" position.
- Pull the choke lever to the "CHOKE" position (if the engine is cold).
- Firmly pull the recoil starter handle until the engine starts.
- Once the engine starts, slowly push the choke lever back to the "RUN" position.
- Allow the generator to run for a few minutes to warm up before connecting electrical devices.

4.2 Connecting Electrical Devices
- Ensure the generator is running stably.
- Plug your electrical devices into the appropriate outlets (120V AC, 12V DC, 30 Amp RV, or USB ports).
- Do not exceed the generator's running wattage (3800W) or the individual outlet's maximum current rating. Overloading will trip the circuit breaker.
4.3 ECO Mode

4.5 Stopping the Generator
- Disconnect all electrical devices from the generator.
- Allow the generator to run for a few minutes without load to cool down.
- Turn the engine switch to the "OFF" position.
- Turn the fuel cap vent lever to the "OFF" position.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance is essential for optimal performance and longevity of your generator. Always perform maintenance with the engine off and cool.
5.1 Engine Oil Change
- First Oil Change: After the first 10 hours of operation.
- Subsequent Oil Changes: Every 50-100 hours of operation, or at least once a year.
- Use SAE 10W-30 engine oil.
- Drain old oil completely before refilling with fresh oil.
5.2 Air Filter Cleaning
- Inspect the air filter every 50 hours or every 3 months.

5.3 Spark Plug Inspection/Replacement
