Regular oiling with Fellowes Powershred Performance Shredder Oil is crucial for maintaining optimal performance and extending the life of your shredder's cutters. This is especially important for micro-cut shredders.
- Frequency: Oil the shredder each time you empty the wastebasket, or at a minimum, twice a month.
- Application: Apply a continuous bead of oil across the paper entry slot.
- Run Shredder: After applying oil, run the shredder in reverse for 10 seconds to distribute the oil evenly across the cutters.
