4. Setup
4.1 Charging the Pen
The Uogic Slim Pen 2 features USB-C fast charging. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the pen's charging port and a power source. A full charge takes approximately 1 hour and provides up to 80 hours of use. The pen automatically enters 'sleep mode' after 10 minutes of inactivity to conserve power.

4.2 Pairing with Your Device
The pen connects automatically to compatible devices via Bluetooth. No manual pairing is typically required. If connection issues arise, navigate to your device's Bluetooth settings to initiate pairing.

4.3 Magnetic Adsorption

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Writing and Drawing
The pen features 4096 pressure levels and a 1.0mm tip, providing precise and smooth writing with no lag. It supports palm rejection, allowing you to rest your hand on the screen naturally while writing or drawing.

5.2 Button Functions
The pen includes an eraser button and a right-click button for quick actions:
- Eraser Button: Located near the tip, press to quickly erase content.
- Right-Click Button: Provides quick editing options.
The top button offers additional shortcuts when paired via Bluetooth:
- Single Click: Opens Microsoft Whiteboard.
- Double Click: Opens Snip & Sketch.
- Press and Hold: Opens Sticky Notes.

5.3 PowerPoint Remote Control
During PowerPoint presentations, the top button can be used for navigation:

5.4 Dual-Use Graphite Nib

6. Maintenance
6.1 Nib Replacement
The Uogic Slim Pen 2 comes with a replaceable graphite nib and an additional replacement tip. To replace the nib, gently pull out the old nib and insert the new one. A small clip tool is provided for easy removal.

7. Troubleshooting
- Pen not connecting: Ensure the pen is charged. Check your device's Bluetooth settings to confirm the pen is paired. If already paired, try unpairing and re-pairing.
- Buttons not responding: Ensure the pen is fully charged and properly connected via Bluetooth. Some users have reported that re-plugging the pen into the Surface device or hovering it over the screen can 'wake' the buttons.
- Inconsistent eraser function: Verify the pen is fully charged and connected. If the issue persists, it may indicate a specific software interaction or a need for a nib replacement.
- Nib leaving marks on screen protector: The graphite nib is designed to mimic a pencil. On matte screen protectors, it may leave pencil-like marks. This is a characteristic of the nib material and not a defect.
