1. Important Safety Information

3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Wire Installation (for MIG Welding)

  1. Open the side cover of the welding machine.
  2. Remove the butterfly nut from the wire tray spindle.
  3. Place the flux-cored wire spool onto the spindle, ensuring it rotates freely.
  4. Secure the wire spool with the butterfly nut.
  5. Lift the retainer arm of the wire feeder mechanism.
  6. Feed the wire through the guide roller and into the conduit, ensuring it is straight and not bent.
  7. Lower the retainer arm and adjust the tension knob to lightly secure the wire.
  8. Close the side cover.

3.2 Connecting Accessories

  1. Connect the MIG torch to the designated port on the front panel. Ensure it is securely inserted and rotated to lock.
  2. Connect the earth clamp cable to the negative (-) terminal on the front panel. Attach the earth clamp securely to the workpiece.
  3. For MMA welding, connect the electrode holder cable to the positive (+) terminal and the earth clamp cable to the negative (-) terminal.

3.3 Power Connection

Connect the power cord to a suitable 100V power outlet. The machine supports 100V operation. Ensure the power switch on the rear panel is in the "OFF" position before connecting to power.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Selecting Welding Mode

Turn on the power switch. Use the mode selection button on the front panel to switch between MIG and MMA welding modes. The digital display will show the selected mode and allow for current/voltage adjustments.

4.2 MIG Welding (Non-Gas Wire)

  1. Ensure the wire is correctly installed and the MIG torch is connected.
  2. Select "MIG" mode on the control panel.

4.4 Adjusting Settings

6. Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
No power to the machine Power cord not connected, power switch off, circuit breaker tripped. Check power cord, turn on switch, reset circuit breaker.
No arc ignition (MMA) Poor ground connection, incorrect current setting, wet electrode. Ensure good ground contact, adjust current, use dry electrodes.
Wire not feeding (MIG) Wire tangled, tension too loose/tight, clogged torch liner, incorrect guide roller. Check wire spool, adjust tension, clean liner, ensure correct guide roller (0.8mm/1.0mm).
Excessive spatter Incorrect voltage/current, improper stick-out, dirty workpiece. Adjust settings, maintain proper stick-out, clean workpiece.
Overheat indicator on Machine overheated due to prolonged use or blocked vents. Allow machine to cool down. Ensure vents are clear. Reduce duty cycle.
