4. Installation Guide
4.1 Pre-Installation Checks
- Verify that your electrical system (socket and circuit breaker) can support a 3000W, 110V appliance drawing up to 27A.
- Ensure the recommended wire gauge of 10AWG is used for electrical connections.
- Confirm that your water supply connections are G1/2 standard.
4.2 Mounting the Unit
- The water heater must be installed vertically. Horizontal installation can cause the heating elements to malfunction, leading to an E2 error.
- Use appropriate mounting hardware (screws included) to secure the unit to a stable surface.
4.3 Water Connections
- Connect the cold water inlet to the bottom port and the hot water outlet to the top port.
- Apply Teflon tape to all pipe threads and tighten connections securely to prevent leaks. Leaks can lead to a short circuit and an E2 error.
- After connecting, open the water supply to fill the heater and purge any air from the system before plugging in the unit.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
- After ensuring proper installation and water flow, plug the unit into a suitable electrical outlet.
- The unit will enter automatic standby mode.
- To activate heating, simply turn on the water faucet. The display will show the real-time water temperature.
5.2 Temperature Display and Adjustment
- The digital display shows the current outlet water temperature.
- To switch the temperature unit between Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C), press and hold the power button for approximately 6 seconds.
- Note: The power button does not directly set the target temperature.
5.3 Water Flow and Temperature Relationship
- The outlet water temperature is directly influenced by the water flow rate.
- A larger water flow rate will result in a lower outlet water temperature because the water spends less time in the heating element.
- A smaller water flow rate will result in a higher outlet water temperature as the water has more time to heat.
- Adjust your faucet's water flow to achieve the desired temperature.
- This unit is not suitable for shower applications, which typically require a minimum flow rate of 1.8 GPM.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your water heater.
- Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Descaling: In areas with hard water, mineral deposits may accumulate over time. Consult a qualified plumber for descaling procedures if you notice reduced performance.
- Inspection: Periodically check water connections for any signs of leaks. Tighten if necessary.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your water heater, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- No Hot Water or Insufficient Heat:
- Check if the unit is properly plugged in and receiving power.
- Ensure the water flow rate is not too high. Reduce flow to increase temperature.
- Verify that the water pressure is within the specified range (0.04-1.2MPa).
- Confirm that the heating elements are functioning correctly. If not, consult a professional.
- E2 Error Displayed:
- This error often indicates a malfunction of the heating elements, potentially due to incorrect horizontal installation. Ensure the unit is mounted vertically.
- An E2 error can also be caused by a short circuit due to loose or leaking pipe connections. Check all water connections and tighten them securely with Teflon tape.
- Circuit Breaker Trips:
- The unit draws a high current (up to 27A). Ensure your circuit breaker is rated appropriately (e.g., 30A dedicated circuit) and not overloaded by other appliances.
- Verify that the wire gauge is 10AWG as recommended.
