1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your LNDU K180 Keyless Entry Door Lock Deadbolt with Handle Set. Please read this manual thoroughly before installation and use to ensure proper function and safety.

2. Safety Information

  • Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the lock yourself. Contact qualified personnel for service.
  • Use only the specified battery type (4 AA batteries). Do not mix old and new batteries or different battery types.
  • Keep all keys and access codes in a secure location.
  • Ensure the door is properly aligned and closes smoothly before installing the lock.
  • This lock is designed for residential and light commercial use.

4. Installation Guide

4.1 Prepare the Door

Ensure your door meets the following specifications:

  • Backset: 2-3/8" (60mm) or 2-3/4" (70mm)
  • Door Hole Diameter: 2-1/8" (54mm)
  • Latch Hole: 1" (25mm)
  • Door Thickness: 1-3/8" to 2-1/8" (35mm to 55mm)

4.2 Install the Latch

If your door's backset is 60mm, you can install the latch directly. For 70mm backset, adjust the latch as needed. Secure the latch with the provided screws.

4.3 Install Exterior Assembly

Feed the cable and torque blade through the door hole. Ensure the torque blade is horizontal and the cable is positioned below the latch. Align the exterior assembly with the door holes.

4.4 Install Interior Assembly

Attach the mounting plate to the door using the long screws. Firmly connect the cable from the exterior assembly to the connector on the interior assembly. Secure the interior assembly to the mounting plate with screws. Load 4 AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment and replace the cover.

4.5 Test the Lock

After installation, test the lock's functionality using the default master code (123456) and the backup keys to ensure smooth operation.

5. Operation

5.1 Keyless Entry

The lock supports up to 100 access codes (3 admin, 97 user codes) for convenient keyless entry. Enter your programmed code followed by the unlock button to open the door.

5.2 Anti-Peeping Function

To enhance security, you can enter random digits before or after your actual password. The lock will still recognize the correct sequence within the longer entry, preventing others from guessing your code by observing your input.

5.3 Auto-Lock Feature

The lock can be set to automatically lock after a specified delay (10s, 20s, or 30s) after the door is closed. This provides added convenience and peace of mind.

5.4 One-Touch Locking

Simply press the lock button on the keypad to instantly lock the door.

6. Programming and Settings

6.1 Setting Automatic Locking

Follow these steps to configure the auto-lock delay:

  1. Enter '777' followed by the unlock button.
  2. Enter your registered administrator password followed by the unlock button.
  3. Select the desired auto-lock time option: 1 for Off, 2 for 10 seconds, 3 for 20 seconds, 4 for 30 seconds.

6.2 Registering Users

To add new user passcodes:

  1. Press the reset button on the rear lock assembly for 2 seconds.
  2. Enter your new 6-10 digit password.
  3. Enter the same 6-10 digit password again to confirm.

6.3 Deleting Users

To delete user passcodes:

  1. Enter '666' followed by the unlock button.
  2. Enter your registered administrator password followed by the unlock button.
  3. Enter the user password you wish to delete followed by the unlock button.

6.4 System Initialization/Reset

To reset the lock to factory settings:

  1. Press and hold the reset button on the rear lock assembly for 5 seconds.
  2. Enter any password between 6 to 10 digits followed by the unlock key. You will receive a voice prompt confirming the successful reset.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Battery Replacement

The lock requires 4 AA batteries (not included). The low battery indicator light will remind you when to replace them. To replace, remove the battery cover on the interior assembly, insert new batteries, and replace the cover.

7.2 Cleaning

Wipe the lock's exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or electronic components.

8. Troubleshooting

  • Lock not responding: Check battery levels and replace if necessary. Ensure the cable connection between assemblies is secure.
  • Code not working: Verify the code is entered correctly. Ensure the lock is not in a 'normally-open' mode. Try resetting the system to factory defaults if issues persist.
  • Auto-lock not functioning: Check the auto-lock settings (Section 6.1) to ensure it's enabled and set to the desired delay.
  • Alarm sounds after multiple incorrect entries: This is a security feature. Wait for the alarm to clear before attempting to enter codes again.
  • Emergency Power Supply: If batteries are completely drained, use a portable power bank via the emergency power port to temporarily power the lock and gain entry.
