Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your MageGee K1 RGB LED Backlit Gaming Keyboard and Mouse Combo. This combo is designed for efficient typing and gaming, featuring a full-size keyboard with RGB backlighting and a high-resolution mouse.

Setup

The MageGee K1 Keyboard and Mouse Combo is designed for plug-and-play functionality, requiring no additional drivers or software installation.

Connecting the Devices:

1. Locate an available USB-A port on your computer (PC or Laptop).
2. Plug the USB connector of the keyboard into the USB port.
3. Plug the USB connector of the mouse into another available USB port.
4. The operating system will automatically detect and configure the devices.

The devices are compatible with Windows XP/Vista/Win7/Win8/Win10, MAC, and Linux operating systems.

Operation

Keyboard Functions:

The K1 keyboard features a standard 104-key layout, including F-keys (function keys) and a number pad.

• RGB LED Backlight: The keyboard offers a vibrant RGB backlight with 8 distinct light colors and 5 different light modes. Brightness levels and light speeds are adjustable. The backlight can also be turned off.
• Multimedia Shortcuts: Utilize the FN key in combination with F1-F12 keys for various multimedia functions.

• Anti-Ghosting: The keyboard supports 19-key anti-ghosting, allowing multiple keys to be pressed simultaneously without conflict, which is beneficial for gaming.
• WASD and Arrow Key Swap: Hold down FN + W to swap the functionality of the WASD keys with the arrow keys. Repeat the combination to revert.

Mouse Functions:

The accompanying mouse features high-resolution tracking and customizable settings.

• DPI Adjustment: The mouse offers 6 levels of adjustable DPI (Dots Per Inch) settings: 600, 800, 1200, 1600, 2400, and 3200. Use the DPI button (typically located behind the scroll wheel) to cycle through these settings to match your preference for speed and accuracy.
• LED Backlight: The mouse features a 7-color breathing LED backlight. To lock the backlight to your favorite color, press the side button (forward or back button) and the middle button (scroll wheel click) simultaneously.

Maintenance

Proper care and maintenance will extend the lifespan of your gaming combo.

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the surfaces of the keyboard and mouse. For deeper cleaning, the keyboard's floating keycaps are removable, allowing access to clean underneath. Use compressed air to remove dust and debris.
• Splash-Resistant Design: The keyboard features a splash-resistant design to help prevent damage from accidental spills. However, it is not fully waterproof. In case of a spill, immediately disconnect the keyboard and allow it to dry completely before reconnecting.
• Storage: Store the devices in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
