2. Setup

The APPASO Touchless Kitchen Faucet is designed for straightforward installation, fitting standard sink holes (1.25-1.4 inches). All necessary installation hardware is included, along with an instruction manual. No specialized plumbing tools are typically required.

2.1 Unpacking and Component Check

Carefully unpack all components and verify against the included parts list. Ensure all items, including the faucet body, pull-down sprayer, hot and cold water lines, mounting hardware, and soap dispenser, are present and undamaged.

2.2 Pre-Installation Steps

  • Turn off the main water supply to your kitchen sink.
  • Remove your old faucet if applicable.
  • Clean the sink area thoroughly before installing the new faucet.
  • Ensure the mounting hole size is between 1.25-1.4 inches (32mm-35mm) and the maximum countertop thickness is 1.3-5 inches (4cm).

2.3 Installation Procedure

  1. Insert the faucet body into the main hole of your sink or countertop.
  2. Secure the faucet from underneath the sink using the provided mounting hardware.
  3. Connect the hot and cold water supply lines to your home's water valves. Ensure a tight, leak-free connection.
  4. Connect the pull-down sprayer hose to the quick-connect fitting on the faucet's main body.
  5. Install the gravity ball onto the pull-down hose to ensure proper retraction.
  6. Install the battery box (requires 4*AA alkaline batteries, not included) and connect it to the faucet's sensor module.
  7. Install the soap dispenser in an adjacent hole if desired.
  8. Turn on the main water supply and check for leaks.

3. Operation

Your APPASO Touchless Kitchen Faucet offers both touchless and manual operation, along with a versatile pull-down sprayer with multiple spray modes.

3.1 Touchless Activation

  • Ensure the manual handle is in the "ON" position.
  • Wave your hand in front of the motion sensor located on the faucet body to activate or deactivate water flow.
  • The faucet features an automatic shut-off after 3 minutes of continuous flow to conserve water.

3.2 Manual Operation

To use the faucet manually, simply operate the side handle to control water flow and temperature. If you prefer manual-only operation, the battery box can be removed.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning the Faucet

  • Clean the faucet regularly with a soft cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that can damage the finish.
