Assembly Instructions

Assembly is required. Follow the steps carefully. It is recommended to have two people for assembly.

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Place them on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
  2. Assemble Base Structure: Attach the side panels to the main frame using the provided hardware. Ensure all screws are tightened securely but do not overtighten until all parts are aligned.
  3. Install Burner Unit: Carefully place the stainless steel burner unit into the designated opening on the tabletop. Connect the gas hose to the burner unit as per the diagram in the separate assembly guide.
  4. Attach Tabletop: Secure the tabletop to the assembled base structure. Ensure proper alignment before fully tightening all fasteners.
  5. Install Access Door: Attach the access door to the side of the fire pit table, ensuring it opens and closes smoothly for propane tank access.
  6. Place Lava Rocks: Distribute the lava rocks evenly around the burner in the fire bowl. Do not cover the igniter or burner ports.

Refer to the detailed diagrams in the included assembly manual for specific hardware and connection points.

Setup

Proper setup is crucial for safe operation.

  1. Positioning: Place the fire pit table on a flat, stable, non-combustible surface outdoors. Ensure adequate clearance from walls, ceilings, and other combustible materials.
  2. Propane Tank Connection:
    • Open the access door on the side of the fire pit table.
    • Place a standard 20-pound propane tank (NOT INCLUDED) inside the compartment.
    • Connect the regulator hose from the fire pit to the propane tank valve. Hand-tighten firmly.
    • Ensure the hose and valve are positioned away from any high-temperature areas of the fire pit.
    • Check all gas connections for leaks using a soapy water solution before first use. Bubbles indicate a leak.
  3. Lava Rock Placement: Arrange the provided lava rocks over the burner ring. Do not obstruct the igniter electrode or the gas ports on the burner.

  1. Before Lighting: Ensure the area around the fire pit is clear of debris and flammable materials. Confirm the propane tank is securely connected and the gas valve is open.
  2. Ignition:
    • Locate the control knob and igniter button on the side panel.
    • Push and turn the control knob counter-clockwise to the 'LOW' position.
    • Immediately press and hold the igniter button. You should hear a clicking sound and see a spark.
    • Once the burner ignites, continue to hold the control knob for 10-15 seconds to allow the thermocouple to heat up.
    • Release the control knob. If the flame extinguishes, repeat the ignition process.
  3. Flame Adjustment: Once lit, rotate the control knob to adjust the flame height from 'LOW' to 'HIGH' as desired.
  4. Turning Off:
    • Turn the control knob clockwise to the 'OFF' position.
    • Close the valve on the propane tank.
    • Allow the fire pit and lava rocks to cool completely before covering or moving.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your fire pit table.

  • Cleaning: Clean the exterior surfaces with a soft cloth and mild soap solution. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals. Ensure the burner area is free of debris.
  • Lava Rocks: Periodically inspect lava rocks for deterioration. Replace if they become excessively crumbly or dusty.
  • Storage: When not in use, especially during inclement weather or off-season, cover the fire pit table with a weather-resistant cover. Disconnect the propane tank and store it in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  • Inspections: Regularly check the gas hose and connections for any signs of wear, cracks, or leaks.
