1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient use of your LG 32SR85U-W Smart Monitor. This 32-inch 4K UHD (3840x2160) IPS display features webOS 23, USB Type-C with 90W Power Delivery, a built-in FHD webcam, integrated speakers, HDR 10 support, AirPlay 2, Screen Share, and Bluetooth connectivity. 2. Safety Information

4. Setup

4.1 Assembling the Stand

1. Carefully place the monitor face down on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
2. Attach the stand neck to the back of the monitor using the provided screws.
3. Connect the stand base to the stand neck and secure it with the designated screw.
4. Ensure all connections are firm before placing the monitor upright.

4.2 Connecting Peripherals and Power

The monitor offers versatile connectivity options. Refer to the image below for port locations.

1. Power Connection: Connect the power adapter to the monitor's power input, then plug the power cord into a wall outlet.
2. USB Type-C: For a single-cable solution, connect your laptop or compatible device to one of the USB Type-C ports. This port supports video, data transfer, and up to 90W Power Delivery for charging your device.
3. HDMI: Connect gaming consoles, set-top boxes, or other devices using the HDMI ports.
4. USB Ports: Use the USB ports for connecting accessories like keyboards, mice, or external storage.
5. Webcam: Attach the detachable Full HD webcam to the designated slot on top of the monitor.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off and Input Selection

• Power: Press the power button on the remote control or the monitor's control button to turn the monitor on or off.
• Input Selection: Use the remote control to navigate to the input selection menu and choose between connected devices (e.g., HDMI 1, HDMI 2, USB-C).

5.2 Navigating webOS 23

Your LG Smart Monitor runs on webOS 23, providing access to various streaming services and smart features without needing an external PC.

• Home Screen: Press the Home button on the remote to access the webOS home screen, which displays your favorite streaming apps and content.
• App Access: Select icons for Netflix, Prime Video, Apple TV app, Disney+, HBO Max, and other services.
• LG Channels: Enjoy over 300+ free LG Channels covering various genres.
• Home Office: Access cloud PC services like Microsoft 365 and Google applications directly from webOS.

5.3 Smart Features

• Apple AirPlay 2 & HomeKit: Wirelessly cast and mirror content from iOS or macOS devices. Control your monitor using Apple HomeKit.
• Screen Share: Share content from compatible devices to the monitor.
• Bluetooth: Connect Bluetooth audio devices for enhanced sound. The monitor also features two built-in speakers.

5.4 Using the Detachable FHD Webcam

The detachable Full HD webcam allows for video calls and meetings. Simply attach it to the top of the monitor. When connected to a PC via USB-C, the webcam functions as a standard external camera. For webOS applications, the webcam can be used with compatible communication platforms.
