Setup

Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the Mares Quad Ci. Connect the included USB charging cable to the dive computer and a compatible USB power source. The device features a rechargeable Lithium Polymer battery.

Basic Settings

Upon powering on, the device will guide you through initial setup. This typically includes:

Pairing with Transmitters (Optional)

The Mares Quad Ci supports hoseless tank data integration with up to five transmitters. To pair a transmitter:

Navigation

Dive Modes

Air Mode

For dives using standard air.

Nitrox Mode

For dives using enriched air nitrox. Ensure the correct oxygen percentage (EAN from 21% to 99%) is set in the computer to avoid decompression sickness.

Trimix Mode

For technical dives using helium-based gas mixtures. Hypoxic and Normoxic trimix are supported.

Logbook

The Mares Quad Ci automatically records dive data. The logbook has a memory capacity of 100 hours. Dive profiles can be accessed and analyzed via the Mares app using Bluetooth connectivity.

Maintenance

Cleaning and Storage

After each dive, rinse the dive computer thoroughly with fresh water to remove salt, sand, and other debris. Allow it to air dry completely before storage. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
