4. Setup and First Use

  1. Unpacking: Remove all packaging materials and promotional labels from the air fryer.
  2. Cleaning: Wash the cooking basket and any removable parts with hot water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the interior and exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth.
  3. Placement: Place the air fryer on a stable, level, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is at least 10 cm (4 inches) of free space around the back and sides of the appliance to allow for proper ventilation. Do not place it directly against a wall or under cabinets.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded wall outlet.
  5. Initial Run (Optional but Recommended): For the first use, it is recommended to run the air fryer empty for about 10-15 minutes at 180°C (350°F) to eliminate any manufacturing odors. A slight smell or smoke may occur, which is normal and will dissipate.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Basic Operation

  1. Prepare Food: Place the food you wish to cook into the cooking basket. Do not overfill the basket to ensure even cooking.
  2. Insert Basket: Slide the cooking basket back into the main unit until it clicks securely into place.
  3. Power On: Press the Power button (Power button icon on LED screen) on the LED touchscreen to turn on the appliance.
  4. Select Program or Manual Settings:
    • Pre-set Programs: The air fryer features 8 pre-set programs for common foods (e.g., fries, chicken, fish, cake). Press the Menu button (M) to cycle through the programs. Each program has a default time and temperature.
    • Manual Adjustment: To set time and temperature manually, use the Temperature Up/Down buttons (Temperature up/down icons) and Time Up/Down buttons (Time up/down icons). The temperature range is typically 80°C to 200°C, and the timer can be set up to 60 minutes.
  5. Start Cooking: Once settings are chosen, press the Start/Pause button (Play/Pause button icon) to begin the cooking process. The fan and heating element will activate.
  6. Shaking/Turning Food: For best results, especially with smaller items like fries, it is recommended to shake or turn the food halfway through the cooking time. Carefully pull out the basket using the cool-touch handle, shake or turn the food, and then reinsert the basket. The air fryer will automatically resume cooking.
  7. Completion: The air fryer will beep when the cooking time is complete. Carefully pull out the basket and transfer the cooked food to a serving plate.
  8. Power Off: Press and hold the Power button to turn off the appliance, or it will automatically shut off after a period of inactivity.

5.2. Cooking Tips

6. Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your air fryer.

  1. Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the air fryer from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Clean Basket and Pan: The cooking basket and any removable parts are dishwasher-safe. Alternatively, wash them with hot water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge. For stubborn residue, soak the basket in hot soapy water for about 10 minutes before cleaning.
  3. Clean Interior: Wipe the interior of the appliance with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads.
  4. Clean Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the air fryer with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
