4. Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the oven and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Placement: Place the oven on a stable, heat-resistant, and level surface. Ensure there is adequate clearance (at least 4 inches) on all sides and above the oven for proper ventilation. Do not place near flammable materials.
  3. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe the interior and exterior surfaces with a damp cloth. Wash the baking rack and crumb tray with warm, soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly.
  4. First Use Burn-off: It is recommended to run the oven empty for about 15 minutes at the maximum temperature setting during its first use. This helps to burn off any manufacturing residues. A slight odor or smoke may be present; ensure the area is well-ventilated.
  5. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded 120V/1550W electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

  1. Preheating (Recommended): While the oven can cook without preheating, for best results, especially for crispy crusts, it is recommended to preheat the oven. Turn the temperature knob to your desired setting (e.g., 400-450°F for most frozen pizzas) and allow 5-10 minutes for the oven to reach temperature.
  2. Prepare Food: Place your frozen pizza or other food item directly on the baking rack or in an oven-safe pan suitable for the oven's dimensions.
  3. Load Food: Carefully pull out the baking rack using the handle. Place the food item onto the rack. Gently push the rack back into the oven.
  4. Set Temperature: Turn the temperature control knob to the desired cooking temperature. The oven can reach up to 575°F.
  5. Set Timer: Turn the timer knob to the desired cooking time (up to 30 minutes). For a 13-inch frozen pizza, cooking typically takes around 8 minutes, but this can vary. The interior light will activate when the timer is set.
  6. Monitor Cooking: Use the tempered glass door and interior light to monitor the cooking progress without opening the oven, which helps maintain consistent temperature.
  7. Remove Food: Once cooking is complete and the timer sounds, carefully pull out the baking rack using the handle. Use oven mitts to remove the hot food item.
  8. Turn Off: Crucially, unplug the oven from the wall outlet after each use to ensure the heating elements are completely off. The timer only serves as a reminder and does not power off the oven.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and hygienic operation of your pizza oven.

  1. Always Unplug: Before cleaning, ensure the oven is unplugged from the power outlet and has completely cooled down.
  2. Exterior: Wipe the exterior surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may scratch the stainless steel finish.
  3. Interior: Wipe the interior with a damp cloth. For stubborn food residue, a non-abrasive sponge with mild soap can be used. Ensure all soap residue is wiped away.
  4. Baking Rack and Crumb Tray: The baking rack and crumb tray are removable for easy cleaning. Wash them in warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry completely before returning them to the oven.
  5. Glass Door: Clean the tempered glass door with a glass cleaner or a damp cloth.
  6. Storage: When not in use, store the oven in a clean, dry place.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Oven Not Heating: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Check if the temperature knob is set.
  • Food Not Cooking Evenly or Taking Too Long: Ensure the oven is preheated. Verify the temperature setting is appropriate for the food item. Ensure the oven is not overloaded.
  • Baking Rack Sticking: Ensure the rack is inserted correctly and is clean. If issues persist, check for any deformities in the rack or oven guides.
  • Oven Does Not Turn Off Automatically: This is a design characteristic. The timer is a reminder only. Always unplug the oven from the power outlet when cooking is finished.
  • Smoke or Odor During First Use: This is normal during the initial burn-off process. Ensure adequate ventilation. If smoke or odor persists after initial use, unplug the oven and contact customer support.
