1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Diivoo Water Sprinkler Timer WT-02. This programmable irrigation hose timer is designed to simplify your garden, yard, and lawn watering needs with its intelligent features and durable construction. Please read this manual carefully before use to ensure proper operation and longevity of your device.

1.1 Package Contents

The package includes the Diivoo Water Sprinkler Timer WT-02, thread seal tape, threaded connectors, a 1/2" inlet adapter, and this user manual. Ensure all components are present before proceeding with installation.

2. Setup

2.1 Battery Installation

The Diivoo Water Sprinkler Timer requires 2 x AA (1.5V) Alkaline batteries (not included). Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the device. Insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the cover securely to maintain the IP55 waterproof rating.

2.2 Connecting to Faucet

Attach the timer to your outdoor faucet. The timer features 360-degree rotating fittings for easy installation. Use the provided 1/2" adapter and O-ring if your faucet is a 1/2" hose stopcock. For 3/4" hose stopcocks, no adapter is needed. Ensure a tight connection to prevent leaks. A built-in filter is included to prevent debris from entering the timer.

2.3 Setting Your Local Time

To set the current local time on your timer: Press the "SET" button. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust the hour and minute. Press "OK" to confirm each setting. 3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Timed Irrigation Mode (Programming)

The timer supports 3 separate watering programs (P1, P2, P3). To set a program, for example, P3 for 1.5 hours at 8:00 on Mondays and Tuesdays:

  1. Press the "PROGRAM" button to select P3.
  2. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to set the start time to 8:00. Press "OK".
  3. Set the watering duration ("How Long") to 1 hour and 30 minutes. Press "OK".
  4. Select Monday and Tuesday as watering days. Press "OK".
  5. Finally, press the "SET" button to switch to "Auto" mode to activate the program.

The same steps apply to setting programs P1 and P2. This feature allows for customized watering schedules to suit different plant needs.

3.2 Manual Watering

To initiate manual watering without interrupting preset programs: Firstly, press the "SET" button to switch the timer to "AUTO" state. Then, hold and press the "Manual Watering" (faucet icon) button. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to set the desired watering duration. Press "OK" to confirm. To switch off manual watering, press and hold the "Manual Watering" button again.

3.3 Rain Delay Function

The rain delay function helps avoid overwatering and conserves water. To activate: Firstly, press the "SET" button to switch the timer to "AUTO" state. Then, hold and press the "+" button. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to select the desired delay duration from 1 to 7 days. Press "OK" to confirm. To switch off the rain delay, you need to turn off the rain delay function manually to make other settings.

3.4 Child Lock

The child lock feature prevents accidental triggering by children or pets. To activate: Hold and press the "-" button. The lock icon will appear on the screen. To deactivate: Hold and press the "-" button again. The lock icon will disappear.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning the Filter

The timer has a built-in filter at the inlet to prevent debris from entering the system. Periodically check and clean this filter to ensure optimal water flow and prevent blockages. Unscrew the top connection, remove the filter, rinse it under running water, and reinsert it.

4.2 Battery Replacement

When the battery indicator on the LCD screen shows low power, replace the batteries promptly. Use 2 x AA (1.5V) Alkaline batteries. Ensure the battery compartment is sealed properly after replacement to maintain water resistance.

4.3 Winterization

Before the first frost, disconnect the water timer from the faucet and hose. Drain any remaining water from the unit. Store the timer indoors in a dry, frost-free location to prevent damage from freezing temperatures.

5. Troubleshooting
