1. Introduction

The VTOMAN FlashSpeed 1500 Extra Battery (Model: PB-81) is designed to expand the capacity of your VTOMAN FlashSpeed 1500 Power Station. This extra battery provides an additional 1548Wh of power, effectively doubling the total capacity of your FlashSpeed 1500 Power Station to 3096Wh when connected.

It features a durable LiFePO4 (LFP) battery, known for its long lifespan of 3000 full cycles to 80% of its original capacity, and enhanced safety compared to NCM batteries. The unit includes a built-in Battery Management System (BMS) for comprehensive protection against over-charge, over-discharge, over-voltage, and short-circuit conditions.

Important Note: The FlashSpeed 1500 Extra Battery cannot be used as a standalone power source. It must be connected to a VTOMAN FlashSpeed 1500 Power Station to function.

4. Setup and Connection

To utilize the FlashSpeed 1500 Extra Battery, it must be properly connected to your VTOMAN FlashSpeed 1500 Power Station.

  1. Ensure both the FlashSpeed 1500 Power Station and the Extra Battery are powered off before connecting.
  2. Locate the CP3500 Connecting Port on both the FlashSpeed 1500 Power Station and the FlashSpeed 1500 Extra Battery.
  3. Using the provided CP3500 Connection Cable, securely connect one end to the CP3500 port on the Extra Battery and the other end to the corresponding port on the FlashSpeed 1500 Power Station. Ensure the connection is firm.
  4. Once connected, you can power on the FlashSpeed 1500 Power Station. The system will recognize the extra battery, and the total capacity will be combined.

5. Operating and Recharging

5.1. Operation

Once the FlashSpeed 1500 Extra Battery is connected to the FlashSpeed 1500 Power Station, it functions as an integrated unit, providing extended power capacity. The power station's display will indicate the combined battery level and output.

5.2. Recharging the Extra Battery

The FlashSpeed 1500 Extra Battery cannot be recharged independently. To recharge the extra battery, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure the FlashSpeed 1500 Extra Battery is connected to the VTOMAN FlashSpeed 1500 Power Station using the CP3500 Connection Cable.
  2. Connect the FlashSpeed 1500 Power Station to a suitable power source (e.g., AC wall outlet, solar panels, car charger) using its respective charging cables.
  3. The power station will then recharge both itself and the connected extra battery simultaneously.
