Setup
Before wearing your watch, it is important to set the correct time and date.
Setting the Time
- Pull the crown (B) out to position 2.
- Rotate the crown to move the hour and minute hands to the desired time. Ensure the 24-hour subdial (at 9 o'clock) is also correctly aligned with the main time.
- Push the crown back into position 1 to engage the movement and start the watch.

Setting the Date
- Pull the crown (B) out to position 1.
- Rotate the crown clockwise to advance the date display (located at 4 o'clock) to the correct day. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this may interfere with the automatic date change mechanism.
- Push the crown back into its original position to secure the date setting.

Using the Tachymeter
The tachymeter scale on the outer rim of the dial is used to measure speed over a known distance (e.g., 1 kilometer or 1 mile). To use it:
- Start the chronograph (upper pusher A) at the beginning of the measured distance.
- Stop the chronograph (upper pusher A) when the distance is completed.
- The chronograph second hand will point to a number on the tachymeter scale, indicating the average speed in units per hour.
Maintenance
Proper care will help preserve the appearance and function of your watch.
Water Resistance
This watch has a water resistance rating of 5 ATM (50 meters/165 feet). This means it is suitable for everyday use and can withstand splashes, rain, and brief immersion in water. However, it is not suitable for swimming, diving, or showering. Always ensure the crown is pushed in completely to maintain water resistance.
Cleaning
Wipe the watch case and crystal with a soft, dry cloth. For the leather strap, avoid prolonged exposure to water and direct sunlight. Clean with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary, then allow to air dry completely.
Battery Replacement
The watch is powered by a nonstandard battery. When the battery needs replacement, it is recommended to have it replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and function.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your watch, please refer to the following common solutions:
- Watch not running: Check if the crown is fully pushed in. If the watch still does not run, the battery may need replacement.
- Incorrect time/date: Refer to the 'Setting the Time' and 'Setting the Date' sections to re-adjust.
- Chronograph hands not resetting to zero: This may indicate a need for recalibration or service.
