2. Setup
2.1 Charging the Battery Pack
- Connect the provided USB-C cable to the battery pack's USB-C port.
- Plug the other end of the USB-C cable into a compatible USB power adapter (not included).
- A green LED next to the USB-C port on the battery pack will illuminate, indicating charging.
- The LED will turn off when the battery pack is fully charged. A full charge typically takes approximately 9 hours.
2.2 Mounting the Headlight
The headlight can be mounted on your bicycle's handlebar or on a helmet.
2.2.1 Handlebar Mount Installation
- Attach the aluminum handlebar mount to your bicycle's handlebar. Ensure it fits securely on bar diameters between 22mm and 32mm.
- Tighten the mount screws until the mount is stable and does not rotate or sag.
- Slide the headlight unit onto the mount until it clicks into place. The mount allows for 360-degree rotation to adjust the beam direction.
- Secure the external battery pack to your bike frame using the provided straps or a suitable pouch, ensuring the cable can reach the headlight unit without tension.

2.2.2 Helmet Mount Installation (Optional)
- Attach the helmet mount (if included) to your cycling helmet according to its instructions.
- Slide the headlight unit onto the helmet mount.
- Ensure the battery pack is securely stored in a backpack or jersey pocket, and the cable is routed safely to the headlight.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Powering On/Off
Connect the battery pack to the headlight unit. Press and hold the power button on the headlight unit to turn it on or off.
3.2 Changing Lighting Modes
The headlight features 5 XHP-50 LEDs with 3 distinct beam types and 13 total lighting modes. The top 3 LEDs provide cool white light (5000K) for a spot beam, while the bottom 2 LEDs provide warm white light (3000K) for a flood beam. Each set of LEDs can be controlled independently or combined.
To cycle through modes, short press the power button. Double-click any button to switch between the main beam groups (Combo, Spot, Flood).
- Combo Beam (4500K): Utilizes all 5 LEDs for a balanced light output.
- Spot Beam (5000K): Focuses light from the top 3 LEDs for long-distance illumination.
- Flood Beam (3000K): Spreads light from the bottom 2 LEDs for wide-angle, anti-glare illumination.

3.3 Battery Level Indicator
The headlight unit features an easy-to-read battery charge and power indicator. Refer to the indicator lights on the light head to monitor the remaining battery life.
3.4 Power Bank Function
The 20000mAh external battery pack can also function as a power bank to charge other USB-powered devices, such as smartphones, during your rides or adventures. Connect your device to the USB-A output port on the battery pack using a compatible cable.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning
Wipe the headlight and battery pack with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish or electronic components.
4.2 Battery Care
- To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
- Charge the battery regularly, even if not in use, to maintain its capacity.
- Store the battery pack in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
4.3 Water Resistance
The VASTFIRE VA-B04 headlight is rated IPX6 waterproof, meaning it is protected against high-pressure water jets from any direction. This makes it suitable for use in rainy conditions. However, it is not designed for submersion in water.

5. Troubleshooting
- Light not turning on:
Ensure the battery pack is fully charged and securely connected to the headlight unit. Check for any visible damage to the cable or connectors. - Battery not charging:
Verify that the USB-C cable is properly connected to both the battery pack and the power adapter. Try using a different USB-C cable or power adapter. Ensure the power source is active. - Light flickering or dimming unexpectedly:
This may indicate a low battery level. Recharge the battery pack. If the issue persists after charging, check the connection between the battery and the light. - Headlight mount is loose:
Re-tighten the screws on the handlebar mount. Ensure the mount is correctly sized for your handlebar diameter. - Taillight not working:
Ensure the taillight has its own power source (if applicable) or is properly connected to the main system. Check its battery if it's a separate unit.
