1. Introduction

The Roinvou 9-inch Touch Screen Car Stereo is designed to upgrade the infotainment system in Toyota Corolla models from 2009 to 2013. Important Compatibility Note: This stereo is specifically designed for Toyota Corolla models from 2009 to 2013. It does NOT support original car audio systems equipped with a JBL amplifier. Please ensure the power cable port on your vehicle matches the provided wiring harness before proceeding with installation.

3. Setup and Installation

Installation of the Roinvou car stereo involves disassembling parts of your vehicle's dashboard and connecting the new unit. It is recommended to watch the provided installation video for a visual guide. Ensure the vehicle's battery is disconnected before starting the installation process to prevent electrical shorts.

3.1. Dashboard Disassembly

1. Carefully pry apart the clips around the existing radio unit. There are typically four bezel pieces on the sides of the radio that are clipped in.
2. Remove any visible Phillips screws and 10mm bolts securing the existing radio and surrounding panels.
3. Disconnect all wiring harnesses from the old radio unit.

3.2. Connecting the New Head Unit

The Roinvou car stereo is designed for plug-and-play installation in compatible Toyota Corolla models. It comes with all necessary plugs and harnesses.

• Connect the main power harness from the vehicle to the new head unit.
• Connect the GPS antenna to the designated port on the head unit.

3.4. Steering Wheel Control (SWC)

If your vehicle has steering wheel controls, connect the corresponding wires (Key1/Key2) in the power cable to the appropriate port of your original car. Then, access the 'SteeringWheelKey' manual match function in the stereo's settings to activate the button functions. If your vehicle contains a CANBUS Decoder, connect the CANBUS before powering on the machine and follow the path: Apps > Settings > Factory Settings (1234) > CAN Settings to make SWC work properly. Select the brand of the CANBUS decoder and the matching model and year according to your actual situation.

After all connections are made, carefully tuck all wires behind the radio to prevent pinching or interference. The radio unit itself clips into place using four prongs and does not require additional screws for mounting. Reassemble the dashboard panels by clipping them back into position.

4. Operating Instructions

Once installed and powered on, the Roinvou car stereo provides a range of features accessible via its 9-inch HD capacitive touchscreen (1280 x 720 resolution).

4.1. Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto

The unit supports both wireless and wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This allows for seamless integration with your smartphone, enabling voice-assisted control for navigation, music playback, calls, messages, and notifications. Simply connect your phone via WiFi hotspot or the original USB cable.

4.2. Mirror Link

Mirror Link functionality allows you to synchronize your Android or iOS smartphone screen directly to the car stereo display. This is useful for viewing videos or other content from your phone on a larger screen.

4.3. GPS Navigation & WiFi

The car stereo has a built-in GPS module, supporting offline navigation software like Waze. With a WiFi or hotspot connection, online maps function seamlessly. You can also download various applications from the Play Store, such as YouTube or TikTok, for entertainment when parked.
