2. Safety Instructions

  • Always disconnect the power supply before performing any maintenance, installation, or cleaning.
  • Ensure the voltage and frequency of the power supply match the specifications indicated on the pump's label.
  • Do not operate the pump without water. The pump is equipped with run-dry protection, but prolonged dry operation should be avoided.
  • Do not lift the pump by its power cord.
  • Ensure the pump is fully submerged in water during operation to prevent overheating.
  • Keep the power cord away from sharp objects and hot surfaces.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

5. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your AQQA submersible water pump:

  1. Choose Placement: The pump can be placed vertically or horizontally. Ensure the suction cups are firmly attached to a clean, smooth surface at the bottom or side of your tank or pond.
  2. Attach Nozzle: Select the appropriate nozzle size for your application and securely attach it to the pump's outlet.
  3. Submerge Pump: Place the pump into the water, ensuring it is fully submerged. The water level must be at least 1cm (0.39 inches) above the pump's intake.
  4. Connect Tubing (if applicable): If using with external tubing for fountains, water draining, or wave making, connect the tubing to the nozzle.
  5. Connect Power: Plug the pump into a suitable power outlet. The pump will begin operating.

6. Operating Instructions

Once the pump is set up and powered on, you can adjust its performance:

  • Adjust Water Flow: Locate the control valve on the pump (if applicable to your model) and slide it to increase or decrease the water flow rate according to your needs.
  • Monitor Water Level: Ensure the water level remains above the minimum 1cm mark to prevent the pump from running dry. The pump's run-dry protection will automatically shut it off if the water level becomes too low and the motor temperature reaches 85°C. It will restart once the water level is restored and the motor cools.

7. Maintenance

  4. Inspect: Check the impeller for any signs of wear or damage. Ensure the ceramic shaft is clean and free of obstructions.
  5. Reassemble: Carefully reassemble the pump in reverse order, ensuring all parts fit securely.
