Setup and Assembly

Tools Recommended For Assembly: Screw Driver (not included). Assembly requires 2 people.

1. Step 1: Unpack and Identify Parts

   Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches. Refer to the "Package Contents" section to identify each part.

2. Step 2: Attach Leg Frames to Desktop

   Align the pre-drilled holes on the leg frames (B and C) with the corresponding holes on the underside of the desktop panel (A). Use the provided screws from the hardware pack (E) to secure the leg frames to the desktop. Do not overtighten the screws initially.

3. Step 3: Install Adjustable Foot Pads

   Screw the adjustable foot pads (D) into the bottom of each leg frame. These pads help stabilize the desk on uneven floors and protect your flooring from scratches.

4. Step 4: Final Tightening and Positioning

   Once all parts are loosely assembled, gently flip the desk upright. Ensure it is stable. Then, systematically tighten all screws using the provided Allen wrench or your screwdriver. Adjust the foot pads as needed to eliminate any wobbling.

Operating Instructions

The Tribesigns Executive Desk is designed for versatile use in various settings.

• Workstation Use: Utilize the spacious 63" W x 31.5" D tabletop for computers, monitors, and office accessories.
• Conference/Meeting Table: The desk comfortably accommodates 4-6 co-workers for meetings and collaborations. Multiple desks can be arranged together for larger gatherings.
• Dining Table: Its elegant design also makes it suitable for use as a dining table in a kitchen or dining area.
• Adjusting Stability: If the desk wobbles, gently turn the adjustable foot pads at the bottom of each leg until the desk is stable on your floor surface.

Maintenance and Care

Proper care will ensure the longevity and appearance of your Tribesigns Executive Desk.

• Cleaning the Desktop: The faux marble particle board tabletop is easy to clean. Wipe with a damp cloth for general cleaning. For tougher spots, use a mild soap solution and then wipe dry immediately. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
• Cleaning the Metal Frame: Wipe the gold metal frame with a dry cloth to remove dust. If necessary, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying to prevent water spots.
• Spills: The tabletop is waterproof. In case of spills, wipe them up promptly to prevent any potential damage or staining.
• Heat Resistance: While the tabletop is heat-resistant, it is recommended to use coasters or protective pads for very hot items to prevent potential surface marks.
• Regular Checks: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight. Retighten if necessary.

Troubleshooting

Common issues and their solutions.

• Issue: Desk is wobbly after assembly.

  Solution: Ensure all screws are fully tightened. Adjust the foot pads at the bottom of each leg. Turn them clockwise or counter-clockwise until the desk is stable and level on your floor. This is the most common cause of instability.

• Issue: Parts are missing or damaged upon arrival.

  Solution: Do not proceed with assembly. Contact Tribesigns customer service immediately with your order details and a description of the missing or damaged parts. Refer to the "Customer Support" section for contact information.

• Issue: Difficulty aligning screw holes during assembly.

  Solution: Ensure you are using the correct parts for each step as per the assembly diagram. Do not overtighten screws until all parts for a section are loosely in place. This allows for minor adjustments. If alignment is still an issue, slightly loosen adjacent screws to provide more play.

• Issue: Surface scratches or marks appear.

  Solution: While the tabletop is scratch-resistant, sharp objects can still cause damage. Use desk mats or protective covers for items that might scratch the surface. For minor marks, a furniture polish designed for engineered wood surfaces may help. For deeper scratches, professional repair might be needed.
