1. Introduction
The Godox DP600III-V is a professional 600Ws studio flash light designed for various photographic applications, including portrait, fashion, and product photography. It features a built-in 2.4G wireless X system, a 30W modeling lamp, and a Bowens mount for wide compatibility with accessories. This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective use of your flash unit.
2. What's in the Box
Please verify that all items listed below are included in your package:

Note: Standard reflector and sync cable are sold separately.

3. Setup
- Attach the Lamp Cover: Carefully place the lamp cover over the flash tube to protect it during transport or when not in use.
- Mounting the Flash: Secure the DP600III-V flash head onto a light stand using the integrated mounting bracket. Ensure the locking knob is tightened to prevent accidental movement.
- Connect Power: Insert the power cord into the power input port on the rear of the flash unit, then plug the other end into a suitable electrical outlet (110-220V compatible).
- Attach Accessories (Optional): The Bowens mount allows for various light modifiers such as softboxes, reflectors, and snoots. Align the accessory with the Bowens mount on the flash head and twist until it locks securely.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off
Locate the power switch on the rear panel of the flash unit. Flip the switch to the "ON" position to power on the device. Flip it to "OFF" to power down.
4.2 Adjusting Flash Power Output
The flash power output can be adjusted from 1/64 to 1/1 in 61 steps. Use the control dial on the rear panel to increase or decrease the power. The current power setting will be displayed on the LCD screen. The unit supports both decimal and fractional display modes for power output.

4.3 Modeling Lamp Operation
The DP600III-V features a 30W modeling lamp with adjustable brightness. The modeling lamp can be set to OFF, PROP (proportional to flash power), or Percentage mode. Use the dedicated button or menu option to cycle through these modes and adjust brightness as needed.
4.4 2.4G Wireless X System
The built-in Godox 2.4G Wireless X System allows for remote triggering and control of the flash. This system is compatible with Godox X2, XPro, XT16, and FT-16 triggers.
- Setting Wireless ID: To prevent interference from other systems, set a unique wireless ID (01-99) on both the flash unit and your compatible Godox trigger.
- Channel and Group Settings: Ensure the flash and trigger are set to the same channel and group for proper communication.
- Triggering: Once configured, the flash can be triggered wirelessly from your camera's hot shoe using the Godox X system trigger.

4.5 Flash Duration and Recycling Time
The DP600III-V offers a short flash duration of 1/2000 to 1/800 second and a fast recycling time of 0.1-1 second, allowing for rapid consecutive shots.
4.6 Auto Recovery of Settings
The unit is designed to automatically recover the last adjusted settings after a restart, ensuring continuity in your workflow.
5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the flash unit. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Flash Tube: Avoid touching the flash tube directly with bare hands, as oils can reduce its lifespan. If touched, clean with a lint-free cloth and alcohol.
- Storage: Store the flash in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive humidity. Always attach the lamp cover when storing or transporting.
- Power Cord: Regularly inspect the power cord for any signs of damage. Do not use a damaged cord.
