4.5 Loop Recording

When enabled in the settings, loop recording allows the camera to continuously record. When the storage is full, the oldest files will be overwritten by new recordings. This ensures continuous operation without manual file management.

5. Data Management

5.1 Connecting to a Computer

To transfer recorded files, connect the Aolbea P100 to a computer using the provided USB-C cable. The camera will typically be recognized as a removable storage device (similar to a USB drive).

5.2 Transferring Files

Once connected, open the camera's storage folder on your computer. You can then copy and paste or drag and drop video and photo files to your computer's hard drive. It is recommended to regularly back up important footage.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning

  • Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera body.
  • For the lens, use a specialized lens cleaning cloth and solution to avoid scratches.
  • Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

6.2 Water Resistance (IP54)

The Aolbea P100 has an IP54 rating, meaning it is protected against dust ingress that could interfere with normal operation and against splashing water from any direction. It is not waterproof and should not be submerged in water or exposed to high-pressure water jets. Ensure all ports are securely closed to maintain water resistance.

6.3 Storage

Store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for extended periods, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) to preserve battery health.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Device not powering on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a power source and try again.
  • Cannot record video/photo: Check if the internal storage is full. Transfer files to a computer to free up space.
  • No audio during playback: Verify that audio recording is enabled in the camera's settings. Ensure your playback device (computer, media player) has audio enabled and is functioning correctly. Some media players may require specific codecs (e.g., VLC media player) to play video with audio.
  • Computer not recognizing device: Try a different USB-C cable or a different USB port on your computer. Ensure the camera is powered on when connected.
  • Poor video quality: Check the selected video resolution in the camera's settings. Ensure the lens is clean and free from obstructions.
