The Promate Cordless Mouse features a total of 6 functional buttons for enhanced control and navigation. These include the standard left and right click buttons, a scroll wheel, a dedicated DPI adjustment button, and two side buttons for forward and backward navigation in web browsers or file explorers. The mouse also has a power switch and a storage compartment for the Nano Receiver on its underside.
Setup
1. Charging the Mouse
Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the mouse.
- Locate the USB-C charging port on the front of the mouse.
- Connect the provided USB-C cable to the mouse and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, wall adapter).
- The LED indicator on the mouse will show charging status. Once fully charged (approximately 2.5 hours), the LED will change or turn off.

2. Connecting via USB Nano Receiver (2.4GHz Wireless)
This method provides a stable 2.4GHz wireless connection.
- Locate the Nano Receiver storage compartment on the underside of the mouse. Gently pull out the USB Nano Receiver.
- Insert the USB Nano Receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
- Turn on the mouse using the power switch located on the underside.
- Your computer should automatically detect and install the necessary drivers. The mouse is ready for use.
3. Connecting via Bluetooth
For devices with Bluetooth capability, you can connect the mouse without using the Nano Receiver.
- Turn on the mouse using the power switch.
- Press and hold the Bluetooth pairing button (often located on the underside or a dedicated button) until the LED indicator starts blinking, indicating it's in pairing mode.
- On your computer or device, go to Bluetooth settings.
- Search for new devices and select "Promate Mouse" (or similar name) from the list.
- Once paired, the LED indicator will stop blinking and remain solid, or turn off.

Operating the Mouse
DPI Adjustment
The mouse features adjustable DPI (Dots Per Inch) settings to control cursor sensitivity and speed.
- Press the DPI button (located near the scroll wheel) to cycle through the available DPI settings: 800, 1200, and 1600 DPI.
- Select the DPI setting that best suits your preference and task.
