5. Setup

Note: This product is compatible only with Apple iOS devices and does not support Android devices.

5.1 Initial Activation and Pairing with Apple Find My

1. Ensure your iOS device (iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch) is running the latest version of iOS/iPadOS.
2. Open the "Find My" app on your iOS device.
3. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your iOS device.
4. On the Tiksounds Wallet Tracker, press and hold the central button for approximately 3-5 seconds until you hear a short beep, indicating it is in pairing mode.
5. In the Find My app, tap the "Items" tab at the bottom of the screen.
6. Tap the "+ Add Item" button, then select "Other Supported Item".
7. Your iOS device will begin searching for nearby compatible items. When the Tiksounds Wallet Tracker appears, tap "Connect".
8. Follow the on-screen instructions to name your item and assign an emoji.
9. Confirm the pairing. The device is now linked to your Apple ID and can be tracked within the Find My app.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Finding Nearby Items

• Open the "Find My" app on your iOS device.
• Go to the "Items" tab.
• Select your Tiksounds Wallet Tracker from the list.
• Tap "Play Sound". The tracker will emit a loud beeping sound (up to 100 decibels) to help you locate it.
• Tap "Stop Sound" once you have found your item.

6.2 Worldwide Tracking

The Tiksounds Wallet Tracker leverages the Apple Find My network. If your item is out of Bluetooth range, its location will be updated by any nearby Apple device (iPhone, iPad, Mac) that is part of the Find My network. The location data is encrypted and anonymous, ensuring your privacy.

• Open the "Find My" app.
• Go to the "Items" tab.
• Select your Tiksounds Wallet Tracker.
• The map will display the last known location of your item. If it's within range of another Find My network device, its location will be updated in real-time.

6.3 Left Behind Alerts

The Left Behind Alert feature notifies you if you leave your item behind at an unfamiliar location.

• In the "Find My" app, select your Tiksounds Wallet Tracker.
• Scroll down and tap "Notify When Left Behind".
• Toggle the feature on. You can also set specific locations where you do not want to be notified (e.g., your home or office) by tapping "New Location".
