4. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to properly assemble and install your Ohniyou ceiling fan. Refer to the installation video for visual guidance.

Assembly Steps:

1. Remove Motor Screws: Remove all 7 screws from the top of the fan motor.
2. Remove Hanging Plate: Remove 2 screws from the bottom of the motor to detach the hanging plate.
3. Secure Metal Cover: Pass wires through the metal cover and secure it to the motor using the screws removed in Step 1.
4. Attach Fan Blades: Unscrew the screws underneath the motor and secure the 5 fan blades using these screws. Ensure blades are firmly attached.
5. Install Metal Plate for Light: Remove one screw from the light attachment area and loosen the other two. Insert the metal plate for the light and tighten the screws back.
6. Wire LED Light Plate: Connect the wires for the LED light plate and attach it magnetically to the metal plate.
7. Connect Remote Receiver: Connect the remote receiver to the fan's internal wiring.

Mounting Steps:

8. Attach Hanging Plate to Ceiling: Secure the hanging plate to the ceiling using the included tapping screws (for wood ceiling) or expansion screws (for concrete ceiling).
9. Hang Fan and Connect Wiring: Temporarily hang the fan on the hanging plate using the included S-hooks. Connect the remote receiver to your home's electrical circuit according to the wire labels (Live, Neutral, Ground).
10. Secure Fan to Ceiling: After wiring, snap the fan onto the screws of the hanging plate and tighten the 4 screws to secure the fan in place.
11. Attach Light Cover: Attach the light cover by rotating it clockwise until it locks securely. (Gloves can be removed for this step for better grip).
