Installation Instructions
The VLAND LED Tail Lights are designed for direct replacement and plug-and-play installation. Professional installation is recommended to ensure correct wiring and functionality.
Required Tools (Not Included):
- Basic automotive hand tools (e.g., screwdriver set, socket wrench set).
- Trim removal tools (plastic pry tools) to prevent damage to vehicle trim.
Installation Steps:
- Preparation: Ensure the vehicle's ignition is off and the battery is disconnected to prevent electrical shorts.
- Access Existing Tail Lights: Carefully remove any interior trim panels or fasteners that obstruct access to the rear of the existing tail light assembly.
- Disconnect Wiring: Unplug the main electrical connector from the back of the factory tail light.
- Remove Factory Tail Lights: Unscrew or unclip the mounting bolts/fasteners securing the factory tail light assembly. Carefully remove the old tail light.
- Install VLAND Tail Lights: Position the new VLAND LED Tail Light assembly into the opening. Ensure it sits flush with the vehicle body.
- Secure Tail Lights: Reinstall the mounting bolts/fasteners to secure the new tail light assembly. Do not overtighten.
- Connect Wiring: Plug the main electrical connector from the vehicle harness into the corresponding port on the new VLAND tail light. No splicing is needed as these are direct replacements.
- Enable Dynamic Features (Optional): The sequential steering and dynamic start features are turned off by default. To activate them, locate the separate yellow and green plugs on the back of the tail light assembly. Unplug these two wiring harnesses.

- Test Functionality: Reconnect the vehicle battery. Test all light functions: running lights, brake lights, turn signals (left and right), reverse lights, and fog lights. Verify dynamic startup and sequential turn signals are active if enabled.
- Reassemble: Reinstall any removed trim panels or covers.

Operating Instructions
Once installed, the VLAND LED Tail Lights operate in conjunction with your vehicle's existing lighting controls. No special operating procedures are required beyond standard vehicle operation.
- Running Lights: Activate automatically with your vehicle's headlights or daytime running lights.
- Brake Lights: Illuminate when the brake pedal is pressed.
- Turn Signals: Activate when the turn signal stalk is engaged. If enabled, the sequential indicator will function.
- Reverse Lights: Illuminate when the vehicle is shifted into reverse gear.
- Fog Lights: Activate via your vehicle's fog light switch (if equipped and wired).
- Dynamic Startup: If enabled during installation, a dynamic light sequence will play when the vehicle is started.
- Dragon Scale Effect: This animation will display when the vehicle is locked or unlocked.
