5. Setup and Installation
5.1 Choosing an Installation Location
Select a location that is:
- Dry and well-ventilated.
- Away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
- Secure and stable to prevent movement.
- Accessible for connections and maintenance.
5.2 Battery Connection
Ensure the inverter is turned OFF before making any connections.
- Connect the positive (+) red battery cable to the positive (+) terminal of the inverter.
- Connect the negative (-) black battery cable to the negative (-) terminal of the inverter.
- Connect the other end of the positive (+) red battery cable to the positive (+) terminal of your 12V battery.
- Connect the other end of the negative (-) black battery cable to the negative (-) terminal of your 12V battery.
- Ensure all connections are tight to reduce resistance and prevent overheating.

5.3 Remote Control Installation
The wired remote control allows for convenient power management. Simply plug the remote control cable into the designated remote control port on the inverter. When using the remote control, ensure the main ON/OFF switch on the inverter unit is always in the OFF position.

Figure 5.3: Remote Control Setup. The 20-foot remote switch provides flexible control over the inverter.
6. Operation
6.1 Powering On/Off
- To turn ON the inverter, ensure all connections are secure, then flip the main ON/OFF switch on the inverter to the 'ON' position. If using the remote, ensure the main switch is OFF, then use the remote switch.
- The LCD display will illuminate, showing output wattage, battery voltage, and other status indicators.
- To turn OFF the inverter, flip the main ON/OFF switch to the 'OFF' position or use the remote switch.
6.2 Connecting Devices
Once the inverter is powered on, you can connect your AC devices to the dual AC outlets. For charging USB devices, use the USB or Type-C ports.
- Ensure the total wattage of all connected devices does not exceed the inverter's continuous output rating of 2000W.
- For inductive loads (e.g., motors, refrigerators), the starting surge power can be significantly higher than the running power. Ensure the inverter's peak surge power (4000W) can handle these initial surges.

7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your inverter.
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the exterior of the inverter with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents. Ensure ventilation openings are free from dust and debris.
- Connections: Regularly check all electrical connections (battery terminals, inverter terminals) to ensure they are tight and free from corrosion. Loose connections can lead to overheating and reduced performance.
- Ventilation: Ensure the inverter's cooling fans and air passages are not obstructed. Proper airflow is essential for heat dissipation.
- Storage: If storing the inverter for an extended period, disconnect it from the battery and store it in a cool, dry place.
8. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your inverter. If the problem persists after following these steps, contact customer support.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Inverter does not turn on. | Loose battery connections, low battery voltage, blown fuse, main switch off (if using remote). | Check battery cable connections. Recharge or replace battery. Check and replace fuses if necessary. Ensure main switch is ON or OFF as per remote usage. |
| No AC output. | Overload protection, over-temperature protection, low/high voltage protection, faulty appliance. | Reduce load. Allow inverter to cool down. Check battery voltage. Test appliance on another power source. |
| Inverter beeps continuously. | Low battery voltage, overload, overheating. | Recharge battery. Reduce load. Allow inverter to cool down. |
| Fans are constantly running or very loud. | High internal temperature, heavy load. | Ensure proper ventilation. Reduce load if possible. This is normal behavior under heavy load or high ambient temperatures. |
