Maintenance

Cleaning

  • Wipe the scale with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the scale in water.
  • The stainless steel weighing pan is easy to clean. The silicone pad can be removed and washed separately.
  • Avoid getting liquids into the internal components, especially the display area, as the scale is not waterproof.

Storage

  • Store the scale in a clean, dry environment.
  • The flip protective cover helps keep the scale clean and protected when not in use.
  • If the scale will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.

Troubleshooting

  • Scale does not turn on: Check if batteries are inserted correctly and have sufficient charge. Replace batteries if necessary.
  • Inaccurate readings: Ensure the scale is on a flat, stable surface. Avoid drafts or vibrations. Recalibrate the scale if necessary (refer to specific calibration instructions, usually involving a known weight and a sequence of button presses, or contact support).
  • Display shows "EEEE" or "O-Ld": This indicates an overload. Remove items from the platform immediately to prevent damage. The maximum capacity is 1000g.
  • Display shows "Lo": Batteries are low. Replace them.
  • Timer not working: Ensure the scale is powered on. Press the timer button firmly.
  • Water damage: The scale is not waterproof. If liquid spills occur, immediately turn off the scale, remove batteries, and allow it to dry completely before attempting to use it again. Disassembly and thorough drying may be required in some cases, but this should only be attempted by experienced users.
