2. Product Overview

The BOBLOV W1 is a high-definition body camera featuring a Novatek chipset and Sony sensor for clear 1080P video quality. Its compact design includes a durable clip for easy attachment to clothing or gear, making it ideal for hands-free recording.

4. Setup

4.1 Inserting the Micro SD Card

The BOBLOV W1 camera supports Micro SD cards up to 128GB. A 64GB A1 Micro SD card is included. Locate the card slot on the side of the camera. Gently insert the Micro SD card with the gold contacts facing the back of the camera until it clicks into place.

4.2 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the camera. Connect the provided USB cable to the camera's charging port and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The charging indicator light will illuminate. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Slide the ON/OFF switch to the 'ON' position. The indicator light will turn on.
  • To Power Off: Slide the ON/OFF switch to the 'OFF' position. The indicator light will turn off.

5.2 Recording Video

  • Ensure the camera is powered on.
  • Press the Video Button once to start video recording. The indicator light will flash.
  • Press the Video Button again to stop recording. The indicator light will become solid.
  • The camera supports loop recording, automatically overwriting the oldest files when the memory card is full.

5.3 Taking Photos

  • Ensure the camera is powered on.
  • Press the Photo Button once to capture a still image. The indicator light will flash briefly.

5.4 Recording Audio

  • Ensure the camera is powered on.
  • Press the Audio Button once to start audio-only recording. The indicator light will flash in a specific pattern (refer to camera's LED behavior for details).
  • Press the Audio Button again to stop audio recording.

5.5 Playback and File Transfer

To access recorded files, you have two primary methods:

  • Connect to PC via USB: Use the provided USB cable to connect the camera directly to your computer. The camera will appear as a removable disk, allowing you to drag and drop files.
  • Use the Card Reader: Remove the Micro SD card from the camera and insert it into the provided card reader. Connect the card reader to your computer's USB port to access the files.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera body. For the lens, use a specialized lens cleaning cloth and solution. Avoid abrasive materials.
  • Storage: Store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the camera regularly, even if not in use, to maintain battery health.
