Setup and First Use
- Initial Charge: Before first use, fully charge the blender's built-in lithium-ion battery using the provided USB charging cord. Connect the cord to the charging port on the lid/motor base and a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter). The charging indicator light will show charging status.
- Cleaning: Wash the blender cup and the lid (avoid immersing the motor base) with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry all parts before assembly.
- Assembly: Place desired ingredients into the blender cup. Ensure ingredients do not exceed the maximum fill line (if applicable, otherwise assume 10oz capacity is the guide). Securely screw the lid with the integrated blade onto the blender cup until it is tightly sealed.
Operating Instructions
The TRU Hydration Blender features simple single-button operation.
- Add Ingredients: Fill the blender cup with your desired ingredients. For best results, add liquids first, then soft ingredients, and finally harder ingredients or small ice cubes. Do not exceed the 10-ounce capacity.
- Secure Lid: Twist the lid with the integrated blade firmly onto the blender cup until it is securely sealed.
- Start Blending: Press the power button located on the lid once to begin blending. The powerful motor will activate, blending ingredients in seconds.
- Stop Blending: Press the power button again to stop the blending cycle.
- Enjoy: Once blending is complete, unscrew the lid and enjoy your beverage directly from the cup.
Tips for Optimal Performance:
- For thicker mixtures, you may need to shake the blender gently during operation to ensure all ingredients come into contact with the blade.
- Avoid overfilling the cup to prevent leaks and ensure efficient blending.
- The rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides multiple blending cycles per charge. Recharge as needed.
Care and Maintenance
Proper care ensures the longevity and performance of your TRU Hydration Blender.
- Cleaning the Cup: The blender cup is dishwasher safe (top rack recommended) or can be washed by hand with warm, soapy water.
- Cleaning the Lid/Blade Assembly: The lid with the integrated blade should be cleaned carefully. Do not immerse the entire lid/motor base in water. Wipe the exterior of the motor base with a damp cloth. For the blade area, rinse under running water, being careful of the sharp blades. A small brush can be used to clean around the blades.
- Storage: Store the blender in a clean, dry place when not in use.
- Battery Care: To maintain battery health, avoid completely draining the battery frequently. Recharge when the power is low.
