Setup and Installation

1. Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the Y80 intercom. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the device and a USB power source. The charging indicator will show the charging status. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours.

2. Installing on Helmet

Choose the appropriate microphone for your helmet type (soft for full-face, hard for open-face). Attach the speakers and microphone inside your helmet using the provided Velcro pads. Ensure the speakers are positioned directly over your ears for optimal sound quality. Mount the main intercom unit to the side of your helmet using the clip-on base. Ensure it is securely fastened.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

• Power On: Press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds until the indicator light flashes.

2. Bluetooth Pairing

1. Ensure the Y80 is powered off.
2. Press and hold the Power button for 5 seconds until the indicator light flashes red and blue alternately, indicating pairing mode.
3. On your mobile phone or other Bluetooth device, search for "Y80" in the Bluetooth settings.
4. Select "Y80" to connect. Once connected, the indicator light will flash blue slowly.

3. Intercom Function (2-Person)

The Y80 supports 2-person intercom communication up to 500 meters (optimal conditions). To initiate intercom:

1. Ensure both Y80 units are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth devices.
2. On one unit, press the Intercom button once. The unit will search for another Y80.
3. On the second unit, press the Intercom button once to accept the connection.
4. Once connected, both riders can communicate.

4. Music Playback and Phone Calls

• Ending Calls: Press the Multi-function button once to end a call.
• Voice Assistant: Press the Multi-function button twice to activate your phone's voice assistant (Siri, Google Assistant).
