5. Setup

  1. Power Connection: Locate the 9V DC input jack on the rear of the oscilloscope (refer to Figure 4.3). Connect a compatible 9V DC power adapter (not included) to this jack.
  2. Probe Connection: Connect the BNC end of the BNC-Clip Cable Probe to the BNC connector on the top of the oscilloscope.
  3. Power On: Flip the ON/OFF switch on the rear panel to the 'ON' position. The display should illuminate.
  4. Signal Input: Connect the red and black alligator clips of the probe to the circuit or signal source you wish to measure. The red clip is typically for the signal, and the black clip for ground.

9. Troubleshooting
