3. Parts List
Before beginning assembly, ensure all parts are present and accounted for. Refer to the diagram below and the included hardware bags. If any parts are missing or damaged, please contact customer support.

Figure 3.1: All components laid out before assembly, including individual bed frames and hardware.
The assembly typically involves various metal frame pieces (labeled A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, U, V) and several types of screws/bolts (S1-S12). Please match the labels on the parts to the assembly diagrams.
4. Assembly Instructions
NOTE: Please do not fully tighten the bolts until all components are fixed in place.
Estimated assembly time is approximately 30 minutes with two adults.
Step 1: Prepare Components
Unpack all components and lay them out on a clean, soft surface (like a carpet or grass) to prevent scratches. Identify each part by its label (A, B, C, etc.) and sort the hardware (S1, S2, etc.).

Figure 4.1: Organized components ready for assembly.
Step 2: Assemble the Headboards/Footboards
Connect the vertical posts (V) to the horizontal bars (P, K) using the specified screws (S1). Ensure the pieces are aligned correctly before partially tightening. This forms the headboard and footboard sections for the lower beds.
Step 3: Assemble the Bed Frames (Lower Beds)
Attach the side rails (B, D) to the assembled headboard/footboard sections. Insert the slats (F) into the designated slots on the side rails. Secure with screws (S1, S2, S3). Repeat this process for both lower twin beds. Ensure all connections are snug but not fully tightened yet.
Step 4: Assemble the Upper Bed Frame
Similar to Step 3, assemble the upper bed frame using its specific side rails (A, C) and slats (F). Attach the guardrails (H) to the upper bed frame. Secure with screws (S1, S2, S3).
Step 5: Connect Lower Beds and Upper Bed
Position the two assembled lower bed frames. Attach the connecting posts (U, Q, G) to the corners of the lower bed frames using screws (S2, S3, S4, S5). These posts will support the upper bunk. Carefully lift and place the assembled upper bed frame onto the top of these connecting posts. Secure the upper bed frame to the posts using screws (S6, S7).

Step 6: Install Ladders
Attach the side ladder (N) and the short ladder (M) to the appropriate locations on the bunk bed frame. Ensure they are securely fastened for safe access to the upper bunk.
Step 7: Final Tightening
Once all components are in place and aligned, systematically tighten all bolts and screws using the provided tools. Ensure all connections are firm and secure. Place the plastic caps (S13) over exposed bolt heads for a finished look and added safety.

5. Operating Instructions
The EMKK Triple Bunk Bed offers flexible configurations. It can be used as a triple bunk bed or separated into three individual twin beds, as shown in Figure 5.1.

Figure 5.1: The bunk bed can be reconfigured into three separate twin beds.
- Mattress Placement: Place twin-sized mattresses on each bed frame. The recommended mattress thickness is 6-8 inches.
- Weight Capacity: Each bed (upper, middle, lower) has a weight capacity of 300 lbs. Do not exceed this limit. The overall stable design supports more than 800 lbs.
- Ladder Use: Always use the provided ladders for safe access to the upper bunk. Do not jump on or off the beds.
- Guardrails: Ensure guardrails are always in place on the upper bunk to prevent falls.
6. Maintenance
Proper maintenance will extend the life and safety of your EMKK Triple Bunk Bed:
- Regular Checks: Periodically inspect all screws and bolts. Tighten them as necessary to ensure the bed remains stable and secure.
- Cleaning: Clean the metal frame with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or solvents, as these can damage the powder-coated finish.
- Environmental Conditions: Keep the bed in a dry environment. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures, which can affect the material's integrity.
- Movement: When moving the bed, lift it rather than dragging it to prevent damage to the frame and your flooring.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your EMKK Triple Bunk Bed, refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:
- Bed feels wobbly or unstable:
- Ensure all bolts and screws are fully tightened. Refer back to Step 7 of the Assembly Instructions.
- Verify that all parts are correctly assembled according to the diagrams. Disassemble and reassemble any sections that appear incorrect.
- Noisy (squeaking/creaking):
- Tighten all bolts and screws. Loose connections are a common cause of noise.
- Apply a small amount of lubricant (e.g., silicone spray) to metal-on-metal contact points if noise persists after tightening.
- Missing parts or hardware:
- Double-check all packaging materials and inside the bed frame components. Small parts can sometimes be overlooked.
- If parts are genuinely missing, contact EMKK customer support with your product model and a description of the missing items.
- Difficulty during assembly:
- Ensure you have two adults assisting with assembly, especially for larger components.
- Review the assembly diagrams carefully. Sometimes a slight rotation of a piece can make a difference.
- Remember the note: do not fully tighten bolts until all parts are loosely connected. This allows for minor adjustments.
