Safety Information
Always prioritize safety during assembly and use. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in injury or damage to the product.
- Assembly Team: It is highly recommended that 3 to 4 people participate in the assembly process. This will ensure stability and ease of handling large components.
- Tools: Use appropriate tools as specified in the assembly section. Ensure all tools are in good working condition.
- Site Selection: Choose a level and stable surface for installation. Ensure adequate clearance from overhead obstructions and power lines.
- Anchoring: Securely anchor the gazebo to the ground using the provided expansion screws, especially in windy areas. For grass surfaces, use ground spikes and wind ropes (not included) for additional stability. The gazebo can withstand wind resistance of 31-38 mph when properly anchored with expansion bolts.
- Weather Conditions: While designed for various weather conditions (e.g., rain, sun, moderate snowfall), it is advisable to remove accumulated heavy snow to prevent structural damage. In extreme weather conditions (e.g., strong winds, heavy storms), disassemble the gazebo or take necessary precautions to prevent damage.
- Maintenance: Regularly inspect all connections and components for tightness and wear. Address any issues promptly.

Key Assembly Steps:
- Unpack and Organize: Carefully unpack all components and lay them out. Identify each part using the provided parts list and diagrams.
- Assemble Base Frame: Connect the horizontal base beams to the corner posts. Ensure all connections are secure and aligned.
- Erect Vertical Posts: With assistance, raise the assembled base frame and vertical posts. Secure the top horizontal beams to the vertical posts.
- Install Roof Frame: Assemble the upper roof frame structure. This includes the main roof supports and the smaller upper roof frame for ventilation.
- Attach Polycarbonate Panels: Carefully slide and secure the polycarbonate roof panels into the designated channels on the roof frame. Ensure proper overlap and sealing to prevent leaks.
- Install Curtains and Netting: Hang the mesh curtains and privacy curtains onto the integrated tracks. The two-track system allows for independent movement of each curtain type.
- Anchor the Gazebo: Secure the gazebo to your chosen surface. Use expansion screws for concrete or wooden decks. For grass, use ground spikes and wind ropes (not included) for optimal stability.

Operating Instructions
Your Aoxun Hardtop Gazebo is designed for versatile use, adapting to your needs for shade, privacy, and insect protection.
Curtain and Netting Operation:
- Mesh Curtains: The anti-mosquito netting can be pulled around the perimeter of the gazebo to create an enclosed space, protecting against insects while allowing airflow. They slide smoothly along the inner track.
- Privacy Curtains: The polyester privacy curtains can be drawn for increased privacy or to block wind and sun. They operate on the outer track, allowing independent use from the mesh netting.
- Securing Curtains: Use the integrated velcro straps to tie back the curtains when not in use, keeping them tidy and preventing them from flapping in the wind.

Figure 4: Illustrates the multifunctional use of the gazebo, demonstrating configurations for good ventilation (fully open), anti-mosquito protection (mesh closed), and sun shade/privacy (privacy curtains closed).
Double Roof Ventilation:
The dual-layer roof design naturally promotes airflow, allowing warm air to rise and escape, keeping the interior cooler and more comfortable, especially on hot days.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance will extend the life and appearance of your gazebo.
- Cleaning Frame: Clean the aluminum frame with a mild soap and water solution. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
- Cleaning Roof Panels: Gently clean the polycarbonate panels with a soft cloth and mild soapy water. Do not use stiff brushes or abrasive materials that could scratch the surface.
- Cleaning Curtains: The polyester curtains can be spot cleaned with mild soap and water. For deeper cleaning, follow the care instructions on the fabric tags. Ensure curtains are completely dry before storing or tying back to prevent mildew.
- Snow Removal: While the roof is designed to be snow resistant, it is recommended to remove heavy accumulations of snow to prevent excessive weight on the structure.
- Fastener Check: Periodically check all screws and bolts to ensure they remain tight. Tighten as necessary.
- Drainage System: The superior slope design helps rainwater drain quickly. Ensure the drainage channels are clear of debris to prevent water accumulation.

Troubleshooting
Here are solutions to common issues you might encounter:
- Issue: Gazebo feels unstable.
- Solution: Ensure all frame connections are securely tightened. Verify that the gazebo is properly anchored to the ground using expansion screws or ground spikes as appropriate for your surface.
- Issue: Water pooling on the roof.
- Solution: Check the polycarbonate panels for proper installation and ensure they are correctly seated in their channels. Clear any debris (leaves, branches) from the roof and drainage system that might be obstructing water flow.
- Issue: Curtains are not sliding smoothly.
- Solution: Inspect the curtain tracks for any obstructions or debris. Clean the tracks if necessary. Ensure the curtain hooks are not bent or damaged.
- Issue: Frame appears scratched or corroded.
- Solution: The aluminum frame has a premium powder coat for durability. Minor scratches can sometimes be touched up with appropriate outdoor-grade paint. For corrosion, clean the area and apply a rust-inhibiting primer before painting.
