3. Setup
3.1 Initial Inspection and Construction
Upon unboxing, carefully inspect your guitar for any signs of damage. Ensure all included accessories are present. The guitar features a traditional body style with handcrafted wooden construction. Pyle uses 100% wood parts, including the bridge and fingerboard, with internal X bracing support to ensure proper intonation and optimal string height.

3.2 Attaching the Shoulder Strap
Locate the two strap buttons on your guitar. One is typically at the base of the body, and the other near the neck joint. Securely attach each end of the detachable shoulder strap to these buttons. Adjust the strap length for comfortable playing while standing or sitting.
3.3 Tuning Your Guitar
Your guitar comes with nylon strings, which are softer on the fingers and ideal for beginners. New nylon strings may stretch and require frequent tuning initially. Use the Pyle Mobile Tuner App (available for iOS and Android) for accurate tuning. This smartphone tuner is designed to be more accurate and easier to use than traditional clip tuners. Follow the app's instructions to tune each string to its correct pitch (E-A-D-G-B-e, from thickest to thinnest string).

4. Operating the Guitar
4.1 Playing Posture
For optimal comfort and sound, maintain a good playing posture. When sitting, keep your back straight and rest the guitar on your right leg (for right-handed players). Use the shoulder strap for stability. Ensure your fretting hand can comfortably reach all frets and your strumming hand can move freely over the strings.
4.2 Using Guitar Picks
Experiment with the included guitar picks to find a comfortable grip and strumming technique. Picks can help produce a clearer, louder sound compared to finger strumming.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
Regularly wipe down your guitar with the included cleaning cloth to remove dust, fingerprints, and oils. This helps preserve the finish and prolong the life of your instrument.
5.2 Storage
When not in use, store your guitar in the provided travel/storage gig bag. This protects it from dust, minor impacts, and changes in humidity and temperature that can affect the wood. Avoid extreme temperatures or direct sunlight.
5.3 String Replacement
Over time, guitar strings will wear out and lose their tone. Replace them with the spare nylon strings provided or other suitable nylon guitar strings. Refer to online tutorials or a professional for proper string changing techniques.
6. Troubleshooting
- Guitar won't stay in tune: New nylon strings stretch significantly. Tune frequently during the first few days of use. Ensure strings are properly seated at the tuning pegs and bridge.
- Buzzing sound when playing: Check your finger placement; ensure you are pressing strings firmly behind the fret. If buzzing persists, it might indicate an issue with string action or fret level, which may require professional adjustment.
- Dull sound: Old or dirty strings can sound dull. Consider replacing them. Ensure the guitar is clean and free of debris.
