3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Physical Installation

The camera is designed for wall-mounted outdoor or indoor use. Ensure the mounting surface is sturdy enough to support the camera's weight (approximately 1.83 pounds).

1. Choose a suitable location for optimal viewing, considering the 180° panoramic angle.
2. Use the provided mounting template (H116/125) to mark drill holes on the wall.
3. Drill holes and insert wall plugs if necessary.
4. Secure the camera's mounting base to the wall using the provided screws.

3.2 Network Connection

This camera supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) for simplified installation, requiring only a single Ethernet cable for both power and data. It can also be powered via a 12V power adapter (not included).

• PoE Connection: Connect the camera directly to a PoE switch or a PoE-enabled NVR using an Ethernet cable. Ensure the waterproof connector is properly installed.
• Non-PoE Connection: If not using PoE, connect the camera to your network router via an Ethernet cable and power it using a 12V power adapter.
• Mobile App & PC Client: Download the compatible mobile application (e.g., iVMS-4200, Hik-Connect) or PC client software for remote access and configuration.
