3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Physical Installation
The camera is designed for wall-mounted outdoor or indoor use. Ensure the mounting surface is sturdy enough to support the camera's weight (approximately 1.83 pounds).
- Choose a suitable location for optimal viewing, considering the 180° panoramic angle.
- Use the provided mounting template (H116/125) to mark drill holes on the wall.
- Drill holes and insert wall plugs if necessary.
- Secure the camera's mounting base to the wall using the provided screws.
- Adjust the camera angle as needed.

3.2 Network Connection
This camera supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) for simplified installation, requiring only a single Ethernet cable for both power and data. It can also be powered via a 12V power adapter (not included).
- PoE Connection: Connect the camera directly to a PoE switch or a PoE-enabled NVR using an Ethernet cable. Ensure the waterproof connector is properly installed.
- Non-PoE Connection: If not using PoE, connect the camera to your network router via an Ethernet cable and power it using a 12V power adapter.
- Mobile App & PC Client: Download the compatible mobile application (e.g., iVMS-4200, Hik-Connect) or PC client software for remote access and configuration.

The integrated speaker and microphone enable real-time two-way communication through the mobile application or PC client. This feature is useful for interacting with visitors or issuing warnings.
- Open the live view feed in your mobile app or PC client.
- Locate and tap the microphone icon to speak.
- Release the microphone icon to listen.
- You can also set up customized audio alarms for automated warnings.

4.3 Person/Vehicle Detection
