Operating Instructions: Blood Glucose Testing Procedure
Follow these steps for an accurate blood glucose measurement:
- Wash Hands: Thoroughly wash your hands with soap and warm water. Dry them completely before testing.
- Insert Test Strip: Insert a new test strip into the test strip port of the blood glucose meter. The meter will automatically turn on.
- Obtain Blood Sample: Press the prepared lancing device firmly against the side of your fingertip and press the release button to prick your finger. Gently squeeze your finger to form a round drop of blood (approximately 1 microliter, about 3mm in diameter).
- Apply Blood Sample: Touch the tip of the test strip to the blood drop. The blood will be drawn into the strip automatically. Do not apply blood to the top of the strip.
- Read Result: The meter will display your blood glucose result in approximately 5 seconds.

This monitor does not perform blood ketone tests itself, but prompts you to do so with a separate blood ketone meter if necessary. Always consult your healthcare professional for guidance.
