1. Product Overview

The Magene C606 is a smart navigation GPS bike computer designed to enhance your cycling experience with advanced features and connectivity.

2. Setup & Unpacking

Before using your Magene C606, ensure all components are present and follow the installation steps.

2.2 Installation

Attach the bike computer mount to your handlebars using the provided rubber bands. Ensure the mount is securely fastened and the computer faces forward for optimal GPS signal reception.

3. Buttons and Functions

The C606 features a touchscreen and three physical buttons for intuitive operation.

  • Top Button (A): Long press to turn on/off the screen. Click to switch pages. Click to pause. Long press to end riding.
  • Left Button (B): Click to switch data pages.
  • Right Button (C): Click to start or pause. Long press to end riding.

4. App Pairing & General Settings

Pair your C606 with the OnelapFit APP for comprehensive control and data management.

4.1 Pairing the Bike Computer

Download the OnelapFit APP from Google Play. Turn on your bike computer, and scan the QR code displayed on the screen using the app to complete pairing.

4.2 General Settings

Within the OnelapFit APP, navigate to General Settings to configure Wi-Fi, bicycle information, message notifications, altitude calibration, and more.

5. Personal Profile

The OnelapFit APP is a professional cycling training software. Submitting accurate personal information helps in precise calculation and analysis of your sports data.

In the personal information settings page, you can set up comprehensive personal and equipment data including weight, FTP, maximum heart rate, lactate threshold heart rate, etc.

6. Preferences

Customize your device settings for optimal performance and user experience.

6.1 Sound Mode

Turn on or turn off sound notifications for key tones and prompt tones.

6.2 Wi-Fi Connection

Connect to Wi-Fi through the OnelapFit APP. Once connected, data will automatically synchronize to the bike computer.

6.3 Power Management

Enable Auto Screen-off and Auto Shutdown to save power. The C606 can automatically adjust backlight brightness during activity in Power Saving Mode.

6.4 Auto Functions

Configure Auto Pause (pauses ride when speed drops below a set value) and Auto Lap (automatically records lap data based on time or distance).

6.5 Language and Map Settings

The C606 supports 11 global languages. Download required maps via Wi-Fi for navigation.

7. Riding Mode and Data Page Setup

Customize your riding modes and data display pages to suit your preferences.

In the OnelapFit APP, go to Device Settings. You can edit existing riding modes or create new ones. Customize the name, theme color, icon, and data pages. The C606 supports up to 10 pages with various layout options. You can add data charts or function buttons, and sort/delete data pages.

8. Peripheral Connection

The C606 GPS smart bike computer supports connection and binding of various sensor devices via ANT+ and Bluetooth protocols.

9. Intelligent Riding Assistant

The Smart Riding Assistant helps you easily manage smart devices during your ride. It provides intelligent reminders and notifications based on riding conditions.

  • Hydration Notification
  • High Speed Notification

Information from the bike computer or external devices can be used as triggering conditions. For example, when vehicle speed is greater than 10km/h, the L508 radar tail light will automatically turn on. When heart rate exceeds 180 bpm, the H803 armband vibrates as a reminder.

10. AGNSS Auxiliary Positioning

AGNSS Auxiliary Positioning speeds up the positioning of the bike computer. It obtains ephemeris data through the OnelapFit APP or Wi-Fi, accelerating the bike computer's positioning speed.

When connected to Wi-Fi, the bike computer will automatically sync ephemeris data once every two days. You can also manually update and sync ephemeris data in the OnelapFit APP.

11. Course Training

Course training supports indoor cycling trainer workouts and creating new workouts. The C606 bike computer connects to a cycling trainer for indoor course training.

You can create a workout through the OnelapFit APP, setting workout requirements for each interval based on your training needs. Save the workout and import it into the bike computer for training.

12. Simulated Route

Saved ride records on the bike computer can be used for smart trainer workouts. You can import saved ride records into the bike computer for use in smart trainer workouts.

You can also create new routes by selecting starting points and adding multiple route points on the map. Preview the route to see total mileage, estimated riding time, and estimated elevation. The saved route can then be used as riding navigation.

13. Data Memory Management

The OnelapFit APP allows for data re-synchronization. The app will retrieve all data from the bike computer. If some data has already been uploaded, it will be overwritten directly, eliminating concerns about duplicate data.

14. Bike Computer Positioning

For accurate GPS positioning, operate the bike computer in an open outdoor area without tall buildings, trees, or overpasses obstructing the sky.

After turning on the bike computer, wait for it to locate GPS. During positioning, the location icon in the top left corner of the screen will flash. Once positioning is successful, the icon will be continuously displayed.

15. Start Riding

After powering on the bike computer, it will display the outdoor riding homepage by default. After successful outdoor positioning, you can click on a preset riding mode and freely add the required sensors or the route you are going to ride.

Once the settings are completed, click to start riding and enter the riding page. You can record laps, pause the ride, or end the ride. The ride continues when riding speed is higher than the preset automatic pause speed.

16. Viewing, Synchronization and Sharing of Riding Logs

After finishing the ride, the bike computer will automatically synchronize and save the ride record when connected to the OnelapFit APP. Once the ride record synchronization is complete, you can view the details of the activity in the data records.

Clicking on the top right corner allows you to share or download the current ride record.

17. Maintenance

Keep the device clean and dry. Avoid extreme temperatures and direct sunlight. Use a soft, damp cloth for cleaning. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

18. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues, try the following:

  • Ensure the device is fully charged.
  • Check all sensor connections and ensure they are properly paired.
  • Verify Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections in the OnelapFit APP.
  • Update the device firmware via the OnelapFit APP.
  • Perform a factory reset if problems persist (refer to app settings).
