5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Extending the Hanging Rod
The top hanging rod is extendable, allowing you to adjust its width to fit your space or accommodate more garments. Each end can be extended by up to 18.5 cm, increasing the total width from 83 cm to 120 cm.
- To extend: Gently pull the inner rod section outwards from either end of the main rod until it reaches the desired length or its maximum extension.
- To retract: Push the extended rod section inwards until it is fully retracted or at your desired shorter length.

5.2 Using the Wheels and Brakes
The clothes rack is equipped with four 360° swivel wheels for easy mobility. Two of these wheels include locking brakes to secure the rack in place.
- To Move: Ensure both brakes are disengaged (unlocked). Gently push or pull the rack to its desired location.
- To Lock: Once the rack is in position, press down the lever on the two braked wheels until they click into the locked position. This prevents the rack from rolling.
- To Unlock: Lift the lever on the braked wheels to release the lock, allowing the rack to move freely again.

5.3 Utilizing Bottom Storage
The rack features two lower bars that create a convenient storage space. This area is ideal for shoes, storage boxes, or baskets. The bars are elevated 14 cm from the floor, allowing for easy cleaning underneath, including by robotic vacuum cleaners.

6. Maintenance and Care
- Cleaning: Wipe the steel and plastic surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish.
- Inspection: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten any loose fasteners to maintain stability and safety.
- Rust Prevention: While the steel is designed to be durable, avoid prolonged exposure to excessive moisture to prevent rust.
- Storage: If storing the rack for an extended period, ensure it is clean and dry. It can be partially disassembled for more compact storage if needed.
7. Troubleshooting
7.1 Rack Feels Wobbly or Unstable
- Check Connections: Ensure all screws and connections are fully tightened. Refer to the assembly instructions to confirm all parts are correctly installed.
- Even Load Distribution: Verify that the weight of the clothes and items on the bottom shelves is evenly distributed. Uneven loading can cause instability.
- Level Surface: Make sure the rack is placed on a flat, level surface. Uneven flooring can cause wobbling.
- Overloading: Ensure the total weight does not exceed the 45 kg capacity. Remove excess items if overloaded.
7.2 Wheels Not Rolling Smoothly
- Check for Obstructions: Clear any debris, hair, or lint that may be caught in the wheel mechanisms.
- Brakes Disengaged: Ensure the wheel brakes are fully disengaged (unlocked).
