Installation and Replacement

Follow these steps to replace the filters in your Daikin air purifier:

1. Remove the Front Panel and Pre-filter: Press the protrusions (2 locations, left and right) on the front panel, then pull it forward and remove.
2. Remove the Old Dust Collection and Deodorizing Filters: Pull the old filters downwards from the bottom to remove them.
3. Install the New Dust Collection and Deodorizing Filters: Ensure the dust collection filter's protrusions do not get caught. Push it upwards from the bottom to install. The side marked "FRONT" or with a tag should face forward. The deodorizing filter does not have a specific front or back.
4. Reattach the Front Panel and Pre-filter: Hook the tabs (2 locations) on the top of the main unit's groove onto the front panel. Push until you hear a "click" sound.

Care and Maintenance

• Dust Collection Filter: Do not wash the dust collection filter with water, as this will impair its function.
• Filter Orientation: Always install the dust collection filter with the side marked "FRONT" or with a tag facing forward. Incorrect installation will prevent proper purification.
• Deodorizing Filter: The deodorizing filter does not have a specific front or back.
• Replacement Frequency: The estimated replacement guideline is approximately 10 years. However, the filter lifespan varies significantly depending on usage time and environmental conditions.
