3. Product Overview

4. Initial Setup

4.1. Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the camera's built-in 3000mAh battery. A full charge takes approximately 5 hours and provides up to 13 hours of continuous recording (1080P, screen and IR off).

  1. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the camera's USB-C port.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to the charging plug.
  3. Plug the charging plug into a standard wall outlet.
  4. The charging indicator light will show the charging status.

4.2. Inserting the Micro SD Card

The KJ25 Body Camera supports Micro SD cards from 64GB to 512GB. A 128GB card is included with this model.

  1. Locate the Micro SD card slot on the side of the camera.
  2. Gently insert the Micro SD card into the slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is oriented correctly.
  3. To remove, gently push the card in until it springs out.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Powering On/Off

  • To power on, press and hold the Power button until the screen lights up.
  • To power off, press and hold the Power button until the camera shuts down.

5.2. Video Recording

The KJ25 records video in 1080P resolution.

  1. Ensure the camera is powered on.
  2. Press the dedicated Record button to start video recording. A red indicator light will flash.
  3. Press the Record button again to stop recording.

5.3. Photo Capture

Capture high-resolution 48MP photos with your KJ25.

  1. Ensure the camera is powered on.
  2. Press the Photo button to take a still image. A single red flash indicates a photo has been taken.

5.4. Night Vision

The KJ25 features night vision capabilities with 10 IR lights for clear recording in low-light conditions.

  • The camera can automatically activate night vision, or it can be manually toggled. Refer to the on-screen menu for specific settings.

5.5. Loop Recording

The camera supports loop recording, which automatically overwrites the oldest files when the memory card is full. You can set the video length in the camera's settings.

6. Media Management

6.1. Transferring Files to a Computer

To access recorded videos and photos, connect the camera to your computer using the provided USB-C cable.

  1. Ensure the camera is powered on.
  2. Connect the camera to your computer using the USB-C cable.
  3. The camera should appear as a removable disk drive on your computer.
  4. Navigate to the appropriate folder (e.g., DCIM) to find your video (.MOV) and photo files.
  5. Copy the files to your computer for storage and playback.

6.2. Playback on Device

You can review recorded media directly on the camera's screen using the navigation buttons.
