1. Product Overview

2. Setup

2.1. Unpacking

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure you have the following items:

• 1 x Wireless Doorbell Receiver
• 1 x Wireless Doorbell Transmitter
• 1 x 23A12V Alkaline Battery (pre-installed in transmitter)
• 2 x Double-sided Adhesive Tapes
• 2 x Screws
• 2 x Wall Anchors
• 1 x Small Screwdriver

2.2. Installation

Transmitter Installation:

Choose a suitable location for the transmitter, typically near your front door. Ensure the surface is clean and dry.

1. Method 1: Using Double-Sided Adhesive Tape
   Peel off one side of the protective film from the double-sided adhesive tape and firmly attach it to the back of the transmitter. Peel off the other side and press the transmitter firmly onto the desired clean surface for at least 30 seconds.
2. Method 2: Using Screws (Recommended for long-term stability)
   Open the transmitter casing using the provided screwdriver. Mark the positions for drilling holes on the wall. Drill two holes, insert the wall anchors, and then secure the transmitter to the wall using the screws. Close the casing.

Receiver Installation:

Plug the receiver into any standard electrical outlet indoors. For optimal performance, choose a central location within your home to maximize signal range.

2.3. Pairing (If adding new units or re-pairing)

The units are pre-paired from the factory. If you need to pair new units or re-pair existing ones:

1. Plug in the receiver.
2. Press and hold the 'Volume' button on the receiver for approximately 5 seconds until the blue LED light flashes rapidly. This indicates pairing mode.
3. Immediately press the transmitter button. The receiver will chime and the LED will stop flashing, indicating successful pairing.
4. Repeat for additional transmitters if necessary.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1. Chime Selection

The receiver offers 55 different chime melodies. To change the chime:

• Press the 'Forward' or 'Backward' button on the side of the receiver to cycle through the available melodies.
• Once you find a desired melody, it will be automatically saved as your default chime.

3.2. Volume Adjustment

The receiver has 5 adjustable volume levels, ranging from 0 dB (mute) to 110 dB. To adjust the volume:

• Press the 'Volume' button on the side of the receiver repeatedly to cycle through the volume levels.
• Select the appropriate volume for your environment (e.g., office, rest time, noisy scenes).

3.3. Mute Function

When the receiver is set to mute (0 dB volume level), the blue LED light on the receiver will still flash when the transmitter button is pressed. This visual indicator ensures you are aware of a visitor even when the chime is silent.

4. Maintenance

4.1. Cleaning

To clean the doorbell units, wipe them gently with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the surface.

4.2. Transmitter Battery Replacement

The transmitter is powered by a 23A12V alkaline battery. When the signal weakens or the transmitter stops working, it may be time to replace the battery.

1. Open the transmitter casing using the small screwdriver provided.
2. Carefully remove the old battery.
3. Insert a new 23A12V alkaline battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Close the transmitter casing securely.

4.3. Waterproof and Dustproof Rating

The transmitter has an IP55 rating, meaning it is protected against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction. While it is highly resistant to outdoor elements like rain, it is not designed to be submerged in water. Avoid immersing the transmitter in water.

5. Troubleshooting

• No sound from receiver:
  Check if the receiver is properly plugged into a working power outlet. Ensure the volume is not set to 0 dB (mute). If the issue persists, try re-pairing the transmitter and receiver as described in Section 2.3.
• Transmitter not working:
  Check the battery in the transmitter. Replace it if necessary (refer to Section 4.2). Ensure the transmitter is within the effective range of the receiver.
• Short signal range:
  While the theoretical maximum range is 300 meters in an open area, actual range may be reduced by obstacles such as walls, metal structures, or other electronic devices causing interference. Try relocating the receiver to a more central position or closer to the transmitter.
• Interference from other devices:
  If you experience erratic behavior, try changing the chime melody. This may help avoid interference from other wireless devices operating on similar frequencies.
