4. Installation

The BESTHERM FREYA radiator is designed for wall-mounted installation. Ensure the chosen location allows for proper air circulation and is away from flammable materials.

Mounting Steps:

1. Unpack the radiator and check for any damage.
2. Choose a suitable wall location, ensuring sufficient clearance from floors, ceilings, and adjacent walls as per local regulations.
3. Use the provided mounting bracket as a template to mark drilling points on the wall.
4. Drill holes and insert wall plugs (if necessary).
5. Securely attach the mounting bracket to the wall.
6. Carefully hang the radiator onto the mounting bracket, ensuring it is level and securely fixed.

5. Electrical Connection

Important: Electrical connection must be performed by a qualified electrician. Ensure the main power supply is disconnected before commencing any wiring work.

This appliance is designed for a three-phase connection. Always connect the Neutral (Blue wire) and the Phase (Brown or Red wire).

• Blue Wire: Connect to Neutral.
• Brown (or Red) Wire: Connect to Phase.
• Black Wire: Connect this wire ONLY for control via a central thermostat (Pilot Wire system). If not using a central thermostat, insulate this wire and do not connect it.
• DO NOT CONNECT TO GROUND. This appliance does not require a ground connection.

The radiator offers flexible programming options to suit your lifestyle and optimize energy consumption.

• Pre-recorded Weekly Programs: Choose from 3 pre-set weekly schedules designed for common usage patterns.
• Customizable Program: Create your own personalized weekly heating schedule to match your specific needs.
• Pilot Wire Modes: If connected to a central thermostat via the Pilot Wire, you can utilize 6 distinct modes for advanced control.

Window Open Detection:

The radiator is equipped with a window open detection feature. If a sudden drop in temperature is detected (indicating an open window), the radiator will temporarily pause heating to prevent energy waste. Heating will resume automatically once the window is closed or after a set period.

7. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Disconnect the radiator from the power supply before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish.
