1. Product Overview

2. What's in the Box

  • 1 x TECKNET Wireless Keyboard (Model X315)
  • 1 x TECKNET Wireless Mouse (Model KM001)
  • 1 x 2.4GHz USB Nano Receiver (stored inside the mouse battery compartment)
  • 1 x User Manual
  • (Note: 4 x AAA batteries are required and not included)

3. Setup Guide

3.1 Battery Installation

  1. Open the battery compartment on the back of the keyboard. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment.
  2. Open the battery compartment on the bottom of the mouse. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Locate the 2.4GHz USB Nano Receiver inside the mouse battery compartment. Carefully remove it.
  4. Close the mouse battery compartment.

3.2 Connecting to Your Device

  1. Plug the 2.4GHz USB Nano Receiver into an available USB port on your computer (PC, Laptop, Smart TV, etc.).
  2. Turn on the keyboard using the ON/OFF switch located on its back.
  3. Turn on the mouse using the ON/OFF switch located on its bottom.
  4. Your computer should automatically detect and install the necessary drivers. The keyboard and mouse are now ready for use.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Keyboard Features

4.2 Mouse Features

  • Ultra-Quiet Clicking: Engineered for silent operation, ensuring minimal disturbance.
  • Adjustable DPI: Cycle through 3 DPI levels (800/1200/1600) to adjust sensitivity for different tasks. The DPI button is located below the scroll wheel.

5. Power Management

The keyboard and mouse are designed with energy-saving features to extend battery life.

  • Automatic Sleep Mode: If inactive for 10 minutes, both the keyboard and mouse will enter sleep mode to conserve power.
  • Wake-up: To wake the devices, simply press any key on the keyboard or move/click the mouse.
  • ON/OFF Switch: For prolonged periods of non-use, it is recommended to turn off the devices using their respective ON/OFF switches.

6. Maintenance and Care

  • Keep the devices away from liquids and extreme temperatures.
  • Clean the keyboard and mouse with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Remove batteries if the devices will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.

7. Troubleshooting

Problem Solution
Devices not responding.
  • 1. Ensure batteries are correctly installed and not depleted. Replace if necessary.
  • 2. Make sure the ON/OFF switches on both devices are in the 'ON' position.
  • 3. Verify the USB receiver is securely plugged into a working USB port on your computer. Try a different USB port.
  • 4. Restart your computer.
Lag or intermittent connection.
  • 1. Ensure the devices are within the 15-meter (49 feet) effective range of the USB receiver.
  • 2. Avoid using the devices on metal surfaces, which can interfere with the wireless signal.
  • 3. Move the USB receiver closer to the keyboard and mouse.
  • 4. Check for other 2.4GHz wireless devices nearby that might cause interference.
Mouse cursor erratic or not moving smoothly.
  • 1. Clean the optical sensor on the bottom of the mouse.
  • 2. Try using the mouse on a different surface (e.g., a mouse pad).
  • 3. Adjust the DPI setting using the DPI button on the mouse.
