- Adjust Leg Height: Unlock the quick-release leg locks on each leg section. Extend the legs to your desired height and securely fasten the locks. The tripod can extend from 20 inches to a maximum of 74 inches.
- Level the Tripod: Use the built-in spirit level on the tripod head to ensure the tripod is perfectly level on the ground. Adjust individual leg heights as needed.
- Attach the Pan & Tilt Head: The 360° pan & tilt head is typically pre-attached. If not, screw it onto the 1/4-inch mounting bolt at the top of the center column until secure.
- Attach Your Device:
- For Cameras (DSLR, Mirrorless, Camcorder): Attach the quick release plate to the bottom of your camera by screwing the 1/4-inch bolt into the camera's tripod socket. Then, slide the quick release plate with your camera into the tripod head's receiver until it clicks securely into place.
- For Smartphones: Attach the provided cell phone holder to a quick release plate. Then, secure your smartphone into the holder and attach the plate to the tripod head as described above.
- Adjust Center Column Height: Loosen the elevation locking knob on the center column. Use the hand crank to raise or lower the center column to fine-tune the height. Tighten the elevation locking knob once the desired height is reached.

- Device Orientation: The pan & tilt head allows for easy switching between landscape and portrait orientations for your camera or smartphone. Loosen the appropriate knob on the head to adjust the angle, then re-tighten.

- Cleaning: Wipe down the tripod legs and head with a soft, damp cloth after each use, especially if used outdoors. Avoid harsh chemicals that may damage the finish.
- Lubrication: Periodically check moving parts for smooth operation. If any parts feel stiff, apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant.
- Storage: Always collapse the tripod fully and store it in the provided carry bag when not in use. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect all screws, locks, and joints for tightness and wear. Tighten any loose components to ensure stability and safety.
6. Troubleshooting
- Tripod Instability: Ensure all leg locks are fully tightened. Verify the tripod is on a flat, stable surface. Utilize the counterweight hook if using heavy equipment or in windy conditions.
- Device Not Secure: Double-check that the quick release plate is properly attached to your device and fully seated in the tripod head's receiver. Ensure the locking mechanism on the head is tightened.
- Stiff Pan/Tilt Movement: Loosen the pan handle or relevant adjustment knobs. Clean any dust or debris from the moving parts. Apply a small amount of silicone lubricant if necessary.
- Legs Not Extending/Retracting Smoothly: Ensure leg locks are fully disengaged. Clean any dirt or sand from inside the leg sections.
